How come this Olivia Dean song is back in? Have the others gone to ACR now?

I think this chart is precisely the reason it will never be extended back to 3 hours - would be so dull! I wouldn’t be completely shocked to see it shortened again in the next couple of years

So it seems as though the new BBC management were not aware that the victim was under 16 (but may have been aware that the investigation took place) and it was after they found this out they decided to sack him. Although it’s made very clear that the former Director General Tony Hall did not know anything. Sounds like the new management wanted a clean break rather than anything else.

Maybe I’m misreading it but I’m not sure it was? It says it happened in 1997-1999, and was reported in 2016, and the case was closed in 2019. And then for reasons we don’t yet know about, has all been brought up over the last couple of weeks

Not directly linked to the playlist… but Scott Mills has been sacked by the BBC! Completely shocking news to me!

I think it’s the amount of tracks that have gone to ACR that is skewing it too? Although it does feel a bit odd - RAYE being lower than expected, Lush Life and Fever Dream being so high

A big clearout this week but not loads that is of interest to me. I'm glad they're supporting the new Lizzo track though, really enjoying that! Hopefully Click Clack Symphony (or whatever RAYE is pushing off that album) gets added next week

I’m not convinced she has - her streams seem pretty high this week and I think Rein Me In may have declined slightly? So she might have a chance in a couple of weeks?

What an album!! The duo of I Know You’re Hurting and Life Boat are outstanding! 100% my album of the year for me though! Really like Joy and Beware… the South London Lover Boy of the new tracks too! Not convinced about I Hate The Way I Look Today but that’s not bad on an album of so many tracks

The Fcukers song is almost 2 months old! Everything else added is more recent than that!
