Love all the ToriTalk in this thread! I was 20 when I first head Tori's music for the first time, very early 1994. Actually, the first time I heard her, I was confused. I siwitched on Mtv when Cornflake Girl was playing, right in the 'you bet your life it is' bit, and for a second I was thinking: a new Kate Bush song that is not on The Red Shoes??? Of course they played Rubberband Girl right after Cornflake Girl. Not long after that, Under The Pink came out, and my musical love affair with Tori started. With some ups (1994-2003 mostly) and downs (sorry, but Midwinter Graces is a NO from me). I don't play her music that often these days, but man, when I do, I FEEL it. Same with Kate, Joni, Sarah McLachlan, Lisa Germano. I just remembered when I met her and I explained how my name is pronounced, and my non-Dutch friends just call me 'Wow', she kept saying 'Bye Wow' when we said goodbye.

Participating here and on Popjustice is confusing - songs that would be an auto-veto there, often pass here; and song that get vetoed here, appear there in one of the various contests. 🧐 Anyway - seeing Spark in this list is a nice surprise!

I recently came close to winning PJSC with Valencia's Super Elastic. Love her! Too bad she's ineligible for you next round.

I based my country name of the name of the puppet used in the 70's, 80's and 90's (it's all digital now..) to introduce commercial breaks on Dutch national television: Loeki de Leeuw (Loeki the Lion). The name was derived from the English verb "to look". If I were to change my country name, it would probably be something 80's girl group related....
