Thanks Jay!

So it probably will hit 700,000 copies in about 5 years yeah? :P

If we assume they'll average out on ~500 copies per week I'd say in about two years and a few weeks.

Sadly I don't think any of their studio albums will reach those targets any time soon. To the point we might not see it happen until the 2040s, lol, unless a reunion gives their music a very impactful

You may notice a handful of albums and singles are missing! The sales for certain releases didn't seem to make sense to me (either they'd barely sold anything since 2009, or they'd lost sales), so I'll hold off posting that data for the time being. This includes: Holler/Let Love Lead the Way, Word Up, most of Emma's Free Me era, Melanie C's Reason era. Hopefully we're able to find out those sales at a later point in time.

Enjoy!

It's what she deserves.

Your ban from BuzzJack has been extended to 100 years! x

Funny how Let Love Lead The Way is so much more popular as a separate entry than Holler, though I imagine that most of Holler's sales/streaming goes towards the Holler / Let Love Lead The Way combined entry and Holler's separate sales might be made up from remixes and such?

Amazing thanks Jay!

So STOP is nearing 2x Platinum and Spice is soooo close to 3million :cheer:

Also, if you add Mama's sole sales to the Who Do You Think You Are/Mama total, we are also close to 1million sales eheh

Shame about the lack of Forever sales growth and some of those totals are so mean and undeserving but it is good to have some totals. Also, Goodbye needs to be included in some throw back playlists or whatever cos that girl needs to cross 1miillion soon please!!

Also, these are definitely their best album tracks ever, so it is good to see the General Public being right FOR ONCE!

20,213 - Never Give Up on the Good Times

15,411 - Move Over

15,073 - Love Thing

13,106 - If U Can't Dance

Emma's solo sales are so bad but not indicative of their success, really. Free Me era was released during a sales crisis and no streaming.

Glad to know about My Happy Place being at around 12k in the UK. I did think it was around that ahah So at best, you could say that she sold around 20k in total including world wide sales hey? The singles from that album deserved better (or maybe not, her promo was terrible and the first video was shite) too.

Coming Home For Christmas was a missed opportunity and thus, the sales reflect it. It's not a very good song either but she also didnt promote it at all, so whatever.

Surprised about Not Such an Innocent Girl sales. I thouht it was around 70k, but it also does really well on Spotify - it is on over 1milion streams  Not bad for a flop (and a bad song lol)

Your ban from BuzzJack has been extended to 100 years! x

We should hold a streaming/download party for L.A. State of Mind tbh - it's only 37 sales away from selling 2k! If Buzzjack can't get it over the threshold, then NO ONE can!!!

We will do it :w00t:

Thank you so much Jay for the update.

I was only moaning about it last week in a post. Maybe someone heard

I'll be holding more 'STOP' streaming parties in the next few months. Stop is only 18,000 away from Platinum :plat:

I'm really pleased to see all Melanie's solo albums have at least passed 10k I mean when you consider Emma sold 12k while being backed by BMG it shows that Melanie has done ok on her own really. I think Beautiful Intentions could have gone silver had it had major label backing, what a shame.

Can I make up for it when I say 'Viva Forever' is in the Top 5 best girl group songs?

Thanks for the update Jay.

We should push a download day for Stop, given itunes sales are low we could get it top 40 on itunes no problem and hopefully it might snowball from there.

Mama having done 106k on it's own is so nice to see.

Goodbye deserves to be a million seller.

The solo sales are all pretty shit but good to see My happy place at 12k after 1 year.

Spice will pass 3m this year.

Also its lols Hot, VB and Mono are all on 53k, annoying how 2 aren't certified silver and probably wont be.
Not more people buying Victoria Beckham's album in the last 11 years than both of Mel B's albums put together!! :drama:

You also need to consider the fact that My Happy Place was released on 17 different physical formats.
