Posted February 3, 201213 yr :kink: - This album has been in the pipeline since 2010.- She's been working with Absolute who produced her previous solo albums.- Last year she supposedly described her forthcoming music as being "High end dance. Think Madonna's Confessions, but more nineties."- Yesterday (at the launch of her latest clothing range for Next) she revealed: "I am in the studio, an announcement is imminent. I've been mastering my album. I'm really excited, my pop career is about to come back!" http://ris.fashion.telegraph.co.uk/RichImageService.svc/imagecontent/1/TMG9056352/m/geri-next-union-ja_2126971a.jpg

February 3, 201213 yr Her solo output has been almost exclusively horrific (with the exception of the fabulous Ride It and Desire, naturally) but Geru is a massive gay icon and possibly the campest woman alive so I'm interested to see what she cooks up. It's bound to be a laugh.
February 3, 201213 yr Whatever, "Love Never Loved Me" is a f***ing classic and sooo ahead of it's time!! I'm soo excited for her to bring it!
February 3, 201213 yr Mel C, Emma and Geri were my personal faves. Mel B has done good songs too. I was so into Geri when I was younger. Scream, Lift Me Up, Bag it up were my standouts. So I'm happy that she is coming back to a solo career but she won't do any better than Mel C in todays music.
February 3, 201213 yr I'm really excited for this, shes looking great atm  Hopefully she'll get a surprise hit from this !! I'll buy it regardless ^_^
February 3, 201213 yr Eurovision might be her best chance of getting noticed and if she went through to the final she would manage a top 20 single out of it, outside that i cant see her doing much or maybe thats wishful thinking on my part. Geri was always my least favourite Spice Girl and i never liked her solo material or voice.
February 4, 201213 yr I still can't believe that 'Bag It Up' got to #1. One of the campest songs in existance. I absolutely loved Geri back in the day, 'Ride It' is still a fabulous song. I am actually looking forward to what she releases.
February 4, 201213 yr she's the British woman with the most number 1's for a solo female in the UK EVER!!!!!!... enough said haters!!!!
February 4, 201213 yr Guilty pleasure I have to admit... While Bag It Up, Look At Me etc. haven't aged well at all and are awfully camp (well actually, there's nothing wrong with camp :D), Ride It and Desire are still amazing, I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm looking forward to seeing what she brings out now!
February 6, 201213 yr I did not see this one coming lol I love Geri, she was my favourite Spice Girl and I liked a lot of her solo songs..am looking forward to hearing her new stuff
February 6, 201213 yr Geri has always been my least favourite Spice Girl, but any solo material from them is much appreciated. I'm such a fan of them that anything is better than nothing. I can't even imagine the levels of tackiness though, Geri is so tacky and she doesn't even realise it. I'm sure her version of "high end dance" is "Eurovision rejects".
February 9, 201213 yr Author http://foreverspice.com/spicediscography/geri/  Just some amusing audio clips from her 2005 documentary.
October 3, 201212 yr Author I must say, Geri's definition of "imminent" is a bit off! Eight months after posting this thread, she's done her first solo set in 7 years, at the Breast Cancer Care fashion show. http://imageshack.us/a/img407/1944/geri2.jpg The three songs were 'Phenomenal Woman' (brand new song), 'Wannabe' & 'It's Raining Men'. Geri just opened her set with new single Phenomenal Woman. Soooooo motown, LIVE vocal and good, actually a good song + she looks shit hot. Second song is a SOLO version of Wannabe. Slowed down...and sounds great. Great arrangement. Wish the other girls were here to hear it! Geri's been having hardcore vocal lessons with David Grant...and it's worked well. I'm impressed. #geriisback Geri's new official Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/GeriHalliwellOfficial + the performances should be uploaded onto her Facebook tomorrow.
