May 7, 201412 yr Clarity doing well so far! Hopefully it'll be a summer smash! As much as it was my 10th favourite song of last year, I really wish they'd release 'Push Play' or 'Spectrum' instead. This is a pointless re-release which won't do anything.
May 7, 201412 yr Not an exciting update there. I still don't get why Zedd is re-releasing Clarity when that's already been a big hit, Find You surely is the logical next release?

He really needs to make the itunes version album early, release a pre order quickly whilst the momentum builds. Spectrum would've been great choice too
May 7, 201412 yr Paolo Nutini not releasing 'Iron Sky' as a single then? :/ Maybe he's saving it for the third single smash a la 'Pencil Full Of Lead' (the 2nd single titles are also suspiciously similar, 'Coming Up Easy' and 'Let Me Down Easy', hmm). Yay for most of those climbers and 'Sights' (hope that can go top 100 for them, 'Nightcall' and 'Hey Now' both ended up doing far better than I expected but still not expecting much of this one, not the best single choice IMO. 'Stay Awake' is screaming out for a release ~) I guess cool for 'Clarity' too (hehe. Pun.) May 7, 201412 yr If anything it's quite surprising that more people don't do the 'album only' strategy. The Saturdays managed to go top 20 with it and it also got Wiley a post-album top 10 hit. Zedd's record label probably couldn't care less about where he charts here though as they're not UK based, however they have deleted the remixes and made them album only on certain compilations for whatever reason :unsure:
May 7, 201412 yr It's only really been boosted 20 places around the #220 area on itunes since it's been playlisted by Capital but fingers crossed radio 1 will hopefully boot it up further
May 7, 201412 yr Nice little clearout this week. Surprised they've kept Katy B on for a 5th week on the B-list, given that it's not doing anything chart-wise. And yet they've dropped JT just as 'Not A Bad Thing' is actually climbing towards the Top 20.

May 7, 201412 yr Great to see Royal Blood making their graduation up to the main playlist for th first time but this single isn't as good as Little Monster, although if they're successfull I'm sure it'll get a rerelease and be A Listed. Disappointing that Fever is removed the week before the album release - what a strange thing to do - was sure they'd A List their new material. Indie support hasn't exactly been great recently!
May 8, 201412 yr I'm sad for GAGA, I thought she'd move up this week, but instead she'll probably be out next week. I never thought Gaga would struggle for airplay at this point into her career. No other radios are playing GUY either. It's not like Applause and DWYW flopped either, they may not have lived up to her previous sales, but they both got certificated Silver. She went too avant-garde and lost the connection. Glad Tennis Court has had another week on the A-list, regardless to the fact it's not doing much because it's not been playlisted anywhere else.
