Channel 5 has confirmed that the latest instalment of the reality show will begin next month, and announced that a "twisted fairytale" will take over the compound.

 

The house has been redesigned to include "whimsical elements that conjure up a magical atmosphere full of possibility and curiosity", the broadcaster revealed.

 

But the new batch of celebrities shouldn't get too comfortable as Channel 5 warned that "there are hints that something more sinister may be lurking". "Will the celebrities relish their fairytale adventure or will it become a living nightmare?" the channel said. "As always in the Big Brother house, celebrities should expect the unexpected as there will be secrets, twists and surprises around each corner."

 

Channel 5 is certainly making the most of this theme, as it joked that it will be keeping an eye on the housemates thanks to its cameras and "magic mirrors".

 

Emma Willis will return to host the series, and will once again appear alongside Rylan Clark on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side. Luisa Zissman will also return as a regular panelist on the spinoff show.

After a dreadful civillian series, things were looking good for the first week or so in CBB but once you got rid of characters like Leslie, it was shit. Hoping this series can be more like the last winter one, fairytale theme looks better anyway than the power one.

 

As for the housemates,

is probably a definite and other rumours include

Calum Best, Patsy Kensit, Katie Price and Austin Armacost (??)

Looking forward to this. It better be as good as the last January Celebrity series! Because the last Celebrity one was awful!

The vile Josie Cunningham was hinting the other day on Twitter that she'll be going in, although she did that with the last CBB and I'm a Celebrity so take anything she says with a pinch of salt :lol: IMAGINE her and Katie Hopkins in the same house, though... :rofl:

I actually really like Daniella Westbrook, I can see her being much more interesting than your Claire Kings and Gillian Taylforths.

 

There are a few rumours on twitter than Sandra and Sandy from Gogglebox are going in!!! But that would mean they'd have to leave Googlebox :(

Starts Wednesday 7th January. Was supposed to be earlier but there was a clash with Broadchurch so it's then instead!
