Hello All, it's that time of the year that we review the Top 100 best selling albums of the decade so far. We're now halfway through the 2010's so let's see how 2014 changed our best sellers......

The charts covered here are 16.01.10- 03.01.15 and the format will be

POSITION, TITLE, ARTIST, MOVEMENT THROUGH THE DECADE, SALES, TOTAL SALES (T/S) IF RELEASED PRE 2010.

Thanks to Youtube, MW, Vidcapper, and some other sources!

It will last no more than 2 weeks so sit back and enjoy!

Now for our new list:

some stats

There are:

65 fallers

17 climbers

10 NEW

8 stuck

There are 16 acts who place two albums here, 4 acts who have three albums, and just 2 who have a very impressive showing of 4 albums!

It seems both strange and worrying that we're already halfway through this decade, whatever we call it (the Teenies, is it?).

Halfway through the decade? Already?

Up To Now is the only album I own out of the above lot. Released in 2009 wasn't it? So not too bad it's dropped out of the best sellers for this decade.

I've probably said this before but it would save a lot of hassle if you.just posted the list all at once

Yes................why bother spending three hours counting down a chart every Sunday when they can just post it? :(

If you're not interested in the thread then feel free to avoid it. Many posters enjoy a countdown on here as was witnessed on New Year's eve, and indeed every Sunday :D

Oh no, don't get me wrong. I AM interested, these sort of things are right up my street. That's why I'm frustrated that I have to wait 2 weeks for the whole thing

Countdowns get so much more comments and attention when they're revealed over a time period rather than all at once. Surely looking forward to seeing what's at the end is a much better feeling than getting something instantly?
Well, you could just PM anyone who wants to have the list already, the rest of us can look forward to and enjoy the countdown.

My fave thing is when someone puts effort into and entertainment feature most on the site enjoy reading through and then someone points out that they could just do the whole thing in one post.

Seriously, whatever your opinion is, can't you just appreciate the hard work going into the thread or the fact that a majority of posters like it this way?

100. DELETED SCENES FROM THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR- Caro Emerald (73-85-88-100) 462,700

99. JLS- JLS (33-51-61-84-99) 465,600 (T/S 1,435,300)

98. THE VERY BEST OF NEIL DIAMOND- Neil Diamond (99-92-98) 466,700

97. ALL THE LITTLE LIGHTS- Passenger (NEW) 471,300

96. GOLD- GREATEST HITS- Abba (98-96) 478,600 (T/S 5,333,700)

Starting us off are three fallers which must be in their final year on this rundown with Neil Diamond having a relatively good year in 2014 though his most recent album, as well as Caro Emerald’s, fail to make the top 100. Passenger becomes the first of ten new albums to join the list and ABBA refuse to surrender their top 100 position adding another 70k to their impressive total of 5 million copies

95. GLEE- THE MUSIC- SEASON ONE VOL 1- Glee Cast (22-45-59-81-95) 481,000

94. #3- The Script (83-94) 488,600

93. A DECADE IN THE SUN- THE BEST OF- The Stereophonics (85-93) 494,700 (T/S 1,232,700)

92. FOUR- One Direction (NEW) 501,300

91. THE WANTED- The Wanted (41-47-56-75-91) 502,800

There are just 2 acts who place four albums in the top 100 and one of those is One Direction whose most recent album “FOUR” makes its presence felt at No 92 easing over the half million mark as the year closed. Not much else of note other than boyband-of-the-past- The Wanted bow out one place higher than 1D, The Script will return again on the list- sadly.

Caro's debut is a great jazz number - 'That Man' being one of my favourites. ABBA's GH is one that'll shift lots of copies forever as they just have the perfect pop records which people of any age seem to enjoy. They do have more definitive collections in their discography though.
