It's weird because I like all the songs on different levels but as a whole I find it really boring and offputting. It's probably my least favourite body of work out of all her albums. Well, the last 3 all make a case for being down there too so it's kinda hard to tell these days.

I'm sometimes kinda similar - my thoughts on the first two and last 3 don't really change but the tracks in the middle can vary. They very much depend on what mood I'm in when listening and most often I find I need to be chilling at night to fully appreciate them. Sometimes I feel 'Amazing' is a little cheap because it's a copy of 'Beautiful Stranger' and sometimes 'Nobody Perfect' drags on with the slow vocals and the way they're distorted. Or was it just that you prefer it to the remix, as much as that means.

August 19, 20159 yr Yeah, the Above & Beyond mix (video/single version) transforms it from something mediocre to something really quite good. I'll rate soon, there are about 3 songs I honestly can't remember how they go.

As a whole, I've pretty much gone off this album and never listen to it. Don't Tell Me however remains fab and Impressive Instant and Paradise are two of her very best album tracks. You might get back into it in time. I find it to be the album i change opinions on more than most of her other ones. But on the whole it is so cohesive and pleasant for me <3 Would rank fairly high if i were to compare all of her albums ~
September 8, 20159 yr Author 11 // I Deserve It // 86 pts. ~ ...and I thank you ~ NHPoJV9RL6M Highest Points: 10 (HausEveryWeekend), 9 (vibe, bartsimpson) Lowest Points: 5 (Regina, dandystar, Fgiboy2511), 6 (pippa) One of Music's most simplistic songs, relying greatly on a repeated guitar melody with some synthy whirs from co-producer/writer Mirwais Ahmadzaï that mark the end of each chorus and keep the song intact with the electronic direction of the album. The lyrics are equally as straightforward - reflecting on how perfect her and Guy were together and how all the searching for Mr. Right was worth it - which makes for a gentle-flowing album track, although is a little out of place in between three dancefloor anthems and 'Amazing' which can affect listening a tad.
September 8, 20159 yr I Deserve It isn't out of place - Amazing is clearly the one song which is hugely out of place on Music. I Deserve It also happens to be the best album track so well done once again Buzzjack. :D
