To follow up the #1 singles poll and the top 3 singles poll, let's take a look back at the seven singles of his which just also made the top ten. Which of these deserved to peak just a little bit higher the most?

A very strong list again, even my 'least fave' I enjoy a lot. Unpopular opinion I know, but I really like 'My Way' and that would have to be my fave. 'Slide' is another discography highlight and I would welcome a brief return to this sort of sound in the future, a great reinvention.

The bottom two are some of his worst ever singles.

1. Outside (ft. Ellie Goulding) [8.5/10 - fab track, all about those strings]

2. Acceptable in the 80s [8/10 - back where it all began! always great to hear this]

3. Thinking About You (ft. Ayah Marar) [7/10 - a little bit generic but I've always had a soft spot for this, underrated]

4. I Need Your Love (ft. Ellie Goulding) [6.5/10 - a little bit more generic but still good]

5. Slide (ft. Frank Ocean & Migos) [6.5/10 - a welcome change in style, not a fave but a good listen]

6. My Way [6/10- wasn't a big fan of this initially but it was a grower]

7. Drinking From The Bottle (ft. Tinie Tempah) [1/10 - his worst track by miles, absolute garbage]

'Slide' is comfortably the best of those, a really refreshing sound from him and I really wish it was the one that had the success 'Feels' did. None that I dislike here, gone with 'Drinking From The Bottle' for least fave just because it's aged pretty poorly but I really liked that at the time too! I think 'My Way' is pretty underrated, not exactly an inventive single from him but issa bop. x

2. Drinking Drom The Bottle [a track that fits the category 'waiting for the drop' the most, Tinie created the atmosphere that is amazingly clubby]

3. Slide [chill sound is not bad at all!]

4. I Need Your Love [another banger with Ellie G, I just got tired of it very quickly]

5. Thinking About You [it was, um, nice to get acquainted with this single]

6. Acceptable In 80's [never was into this and I always wonder how it came so popular]

7. My Way [ugh...]

Despite the fact I've played most these songs quite a lot, I don't go and revisit them much anymore - only the top two really. That string of singles of I Need Your Love - Drinking From The Bottle - Thinking About You have aged really badly :unsure:

Acceptable in the 80s feels so refreshing amongst his back catalogue these days, I love it. Outside still sounds great and Slide was an excellent change of pace. Drinking From the Bottle and I Need Your Love I got REALLY sick of at the time and they've not aged the best, My Way is a weak song, but I am a bit of a sucker for his voice, so it's above the bland as anything Thinking About You.

FAVE: Acceptable In The 80s

LEAST FAVE: Outside

the best is by far I Need Your love, one of Calvin's best ever, one of the best dance tracks of the decade imho

Slide is pretty good, but anything with Frank Ocean on is amazing

My Way and Drinking from the Bottle are very bad, hard to decide which one is worst
