 Pharrell Williams has a distinct voice which is probably why he gets asked to work with so very names in the world of music from hip hop to rock and of course dance. His musical projects of course include both his solo work along with his music as part of N.E.R.D. and The Neptunes. He has been around for almost 2 decades now and still makes new music as shown by one of The Neptunes recent singles included in this poll. Take a look at some of Pharrell Williams dance features here; Sex ‘N’ Money (with Oakenfold) One (Your Name) (with Swedish House Mafia) Get Lucky (with Daft Punk) Lose Yourself To Dance (with Daft Punk) Aerosol Can (with Major Lazer) Go Up (with Cassius & Cat Power) Heatstroke (with Calvin Harris, Ariana Grande & Young Thug) Feels (with Calvin Harris, Katy Perry & Big Sean) Dream Bigger (with Axwell Λ Ingrosso) Blast Off (with Gesaffelstein) Pomegranate (with deadmau5) Which of his current dance features is your favourite? Which dance producers would you like to see him feature with in the future? There are so many fine dance collaborations in Pharrell’s back catalogue, I enjoy listening to so many of these. My favourite would be Swedish House Mafia, because of course it was the song which introduced us to this monster dance outfit in 2010. An uncredited song follows it and then the rest of his dance music after. Here’s my ratings for Pharrell Williams’ dance music; 1. One (Your Name) (with Swedish House Mafia) 2. Dream Bigger (with Axwell Λ Ingrosso) 3. Get Lucky (with Daft Punk) 4. Heatstroke (with Calvin Harris, Ariana Grande & Young Thug) 5. Pomegranate (with deadmau5) 6. Feels (with Calvin Harris, Katy Perry & Big Sean) 7. Go Up (with Cassius & Cat Power) 8. Aerosol Can (with Major Lazer) 9. Blast Off (with Gesaffelstein) 10. Sex ‘N’ Money (with Oakenfold) 11. Lose Yourself To Dance (with Daft Punk) Of course I hope that he will continue to make much more music in the future with other producers, and a couple of big names I’ve tipped him to record with are CamelPhat and Disciples. I really did expect that Get Lucky would edge its heat being as it’s his most commercially recognised hit after Happy. I still don’t know why people would rate Feels above the rest of the choices here though. Hopefully One (Your Name) can get more votes.
