Posted September 4, 20213 yr Clues on this for instagram seem to suggest that Melanie C will be on the next series of Dancing With The Stars in America... Funny if she is doing the US version when she has been asked to do the UK version several times and refused. She said the paycheck wasn't worth her time so I wonder if Dancing With The Stars pays more than Strictly... would make sense as Strictly has a BBC cap.
September 4, 20213 yr I really wanna know what goes through her head at times. Surely doing Strictly would do better for her profile and help sales in the UK no she’s never gonna have a hit or be a best seller again but I’m sure more UK sales would benefit her. Then again this will still give her good exposure. All the best to her I hope she smashes it

All the best to her I hope she smashes it This was exactly my thinking. :lol: If she tied it into a new album era surely she could have negotiated a performance slot on the show into her contract and used it to help boost the first week sales of the album / gain some more UK sales?? Let's face it she is never going to sell again (did she ever?) in the USA!

I mean I know Mel B did very well off the back of it but it was an uphill struggle with a few years of presenting shows like "the singing office" and "dance your ass off" before she got anywhere and even then her only real big gig was America's Got Talent in the USA.

I think she will; Emma, Mel B, and Melanie C were always the best dancers so she's well suited to this. I don't want to get my hopes up too much (it's a pun, get it? :teresa: ), but, since the SG are creatures of habit when it comes to group activities, I smell a tour announcement similar to when Mel B had her turn ...

Finally she realized that there was no reason to limit herself. It's all about opportunities. As for the visibility she will have, before anything related to spice girls, Melanie will be releasing new music and will be on tour. This will likely help her new solo work. Probably a new single by the end of this year.
