Firstly, what is your favourite album track? :D

 

The poll doesn't include Take Me for a Ride or Heartbreak in This City due to their single status, while I've decided to omit The Slightest Touch because it was a promo single/instant grat or whatever you'd like to refer to it as being - somewhat elevated from a mere album track anyway :lol:

 

It seems to be an open secret that A Hundred Years of Winter will be the next single, nevertheless... in the second poll, vote for the song you'd most like to be the next single! Which might not necessarily be your favourite song, but the one you think would be best for the campaign.

My favourite is Wasted Tears... I really connected with the Initial Talk remix, I adore it, but I really like the album version too!

 

I think Living in a Lie would have great potential as a single, at least in terms of a great video / sounding great on Radio 2 and tapping into the ABBA mania... but A Hundred Years of Winter is a great choice!

'Wasted Tears' in both polls, it's my fave track & SHOULD be the next single. Didn't know that 'A Hundred Years of Winter' (another fab track) was already lined up as the next single, very fitting for X-Mas time. Also thought that 'The Slightest Touch' was classed as a single.

Well anyway the single choices have been pretty great so far & here's what I think what the era could look like (note that I didn't include 'Heartbreak' as I class that as part of Part 1) =

'Living In A Lie'

The Slightest Touch - I think we have to go on what was playlisted on Radio 2 to classify them as singles, and it wasn't! I think it was a promo single of sorts, an instant grat. I definitely think it deserved a proper single push though. :(

The Slightest Touch should get a real push, the song is known to many and Steps have delivered a strong cover of it.

A Hundred Years Of Winter for both options for me! Would be great if it got a double a-side style release with The Slightest Touch, with both tracks having proper videos too!

It would be good for the GP to see them slow it down (a little) as the last “slow” ish song they did was on Tears…

Wasted tears for both for me! I think a hundred years of winter and living a lie should also be future singles though!

Victorious and Living in a lie would ideally be my choice as next 2 singles but i can understand a hundred years of winter to showcase a different side of the album. Frustratingly though no matter what they pick it wont make a difference, its such a shame they are no longer able to get success in the singles chart as the standard of the singles is on par with singles from their heyday.

Living In A Lie would get my vote for both.
