thank you Nick and Jerick  the first thread had good times, bad times, dramas, and 100s of song changes :kink:

hopefully the new thread will be just as eventful :heehee:

:o I wonder if my thread will ever get long enough for a 2.0 :kink:

Pretty sure mine will :kink:

Are the Rontvian chart peaks from your personal chart or different?

 oh dear...*edits*

Glorious didn't even make my chart back in the day, and I've been doing it since 1999...god knows why I sent it, I love the song but it's a bizarre entry, a real anomaly, a former UK top five hit, hardly forgotten, I don't exactly know what was running through my mind when I selected it  I would have sent A Little Bit Of Love instead but MF songs were not allowed at this point

You missed out BJSC III :kink: I'm sure Phil had something to do with this..

Unfortunately i can not claim responsibility as i was shopping at Morrisons.

Shame, coz i really f***ing hate that track

Mine should reach 2.0 soon. I wonder who can reach 3.0 first :kink:

FSR Rontvia were ecstatic that Anna Abreu gave them their second 2nd place in BJSC on Sunday with the pop classic Music Everywhere!!! It is the highest a Finnish artist has ever finished in BJSC and was Rontvia's 5th top 3 result of the XI-XX era which also included two other top ten hits, one small hit and two flops...in comparison, the I-X era had four flops and six hits, although only two top 3's, so the XI-XX era has clearly been more successful, showing that FSR Rontvia have successfully evolved with the contest :funky:

for XXI, there are a few songs in consideration;

*Cassandra Steen feat Adel Tawil - Stadt

*Owl City - Fireflies

*Marit Larsen - Addicted

Agnes is also held on loan for FSR Rontvia at the moment, but may be released at a later date

Owl City's a little cheap for me. ;( But I live in the US where it's been rising up iTunes for a while now.
I've got a soft spot for Marit Larsen

it would be for you :heehee:

I doubt many people here will have heard it though...is a shock #2 in my chart at the moment, I adore it :o which is even more odd considering that I wasn't blown away by Strawberry Avalanche and didn't expect to like Fireflies

I have two of his cd's, and both are great!

And Strawberry avalanche is extrordionary epic for me

..but Fireflies is still wonderfull, so there's a big chance I give it a point or two!

(at the most :kink: )

I've ordered Ocean Eyes, hoping I'll like it :D

If you like Fireflies, then I think you will.

Most of the songs are pretty good, and very Owl city-like, which is definitely a good thing. (It is still weird that they chose to exlude Strawberry avalanche and Hot air balloon). You have heard that track, right? It's amaze :D

My favorites from the cd is 'The bird and the worm', 'Vanilla twilight' and 'Umbrella beach' I think.. but they are all good, even though some of them are just 'tampered' (refined?) with a bit from former albums, if I'm not mistaken. 'The saltwater room' and 'Hello Seattle' at least. Which are also some of my favorites

no, not heard Hot Air Balloon...I found it odd that Strawberry Avalanche wasn't on the tracklisting too, is it an older song perhaps?

am really looking forward to hearing the album :D

No, the 'Strawberry avalanche' was part of his 'monthly song release' up until his full album release. Like 'pre-PR' releases for the album, only buyable as singles. It came out the month JRK-off chose to send it, I think. And the 'Hot air balloon came out on another month.

Search it up on youtube and tell me how you feel about it. It IS truly amazing
