Voting Rules

1. If you do not vote before Saturday, September 12th at 20h00 (BST) you will not be able to participate in the next contest and also be moved to the waiting list. You will also receive a 33% from your final score if you are a finalist.
2. The Final Results shall be broadcasted live from Disco Heaven, Kathaldazia on Sunday September 13th at 7pm (BST).
3. All votes get PM'd to me (Mwa Kath Mwa). You may not reveal who you voted for until after the Final results have been announced.
4. All countries including those who missed the final MUST vote.
5. The voting works in the following manner: Favourite - 12 points, second favourite - 10 points, third favourite - 8 points, fourth favourite - 7 points. You get the picture.

The winner of XX/host of XXI is politely asked to not open the reservation thread until the moderators of the BJSC forum give them permission to do so. This is a one-off event due to an announcement which will be made by the moderators after the results of XX which involves the reservation system, and as such it is paramount that it not be opened until the announcement has been given and allowed time for response. Experience dictates that favourites being in close proximity to one another helps people decide more decisively which one they prefer, generally knocking the weaker candidate down by a few points in someone's voting when they might have been separated by just a point had they been further apart, and this adds up quite a bit - hence very worrying to all favourites if they're all close together, as chances are there won't be a general favourite and thus all will be damaged by it; and traditionally songs that perform in the first and last three slots tend to perform far better statistically than others (although the effect is far stronger when you go on early).

Stereo and Ameerah are DISTINCTLY different from the rest I found :o

Oops, yes, Stereo is more of a guitar song, shares more with the likes of Cassie Davis. I think I meant to include Cindy Gomez instead.

 

Ameerah is probably the more laidback of that lot, but it reminded me most of Kim Sozzi. (in the verses at least)

these artists songs sound nothing alike to me, in terms of gender and genre the similar is not very varied I agree, but I couldn't possibly compare Love Love Love to Music Everywhere, one is a disco-schlager anthem and the other is thumping electro-pop

luckily, in this instance The Spell, Music Everywhere and Into The Clouds are all completely different types of pop music...plus I don't think these songs will be the top 3 anyway

When I listen to the songs - I get all of them on iTunes and I mix them all around, so it means nothing to me. The Sound Of Arrows are amazing wherever they are placed tbh..
