Taio is indeed #1 and is developing a lead very fast. I'd say he's a cert for #1 officially.

Also, Shakira level with #2, Madonna level with #13 and is also #69, Paramore are #40 and Paloma is #46.

Doesn't look like Madonna even has a chance.

the R&B/Dance hybrid is really 2009's strongest force. Not even pop's biggest superstars seem to be able to compete with it

young(ish) British artists are absolutely dominating the year; Tinchy, Ironik, Chipmunk, N-Dubz, Taio Cruz, Pixie Lott, Calvin Harris etc...all unstoppable

Wow. Taio #1. Knew it would be big but didn't see it being #1.

I knew Madonna would do shocking. It's a poor song, and I think she's fastly becoming irrelevant in the music scene (see U2).

Looks like Chipmunk could be the one to beat when he releases his newie...

Anyone know if Madonna or Shakira are doing ANY promo for their singles this week?

Really surprised at Madonna to be honest, think she's left it a bit too late to release and the video should have had the album version instead of the Benny Benassi mix. I would rather see Shakira at #1 over Taio to be honest, ideally it would be Madonna but doesn't look like she'll stand a chance sadly.
Great for Taio. :) Really like his song and he deserves more recognition.

LOL Madonna doing promo? Is that a joke? She hasn't done promo in ages.

So pleased for Taio, he's always deserved more recognition. So pleased for him! :D 'Moving On' and 'Come On Girl' were better but this is still a fantastic song.

I wouldn't write her off yet. Wait until tomorrow afternoon I would say.

And tbh I really like the Benassi remix in the video (Maybe I'm the only one :heehee:)

Chipmunk will have competition from Jay Sean though. It's definately the year of UK Male R&B/Hip-Hop acts! :D
