Posted September 21, 200915 yr Early!!!!!!! dont shoot me :D This girl has the all the talent that mutya has... but with more drive and ambition....I personally can't wait to hear what she come up with! With Siobhan we got a rocky leftfield feel, with Mutya we got some slow jams but what does everyone expect from a keisha Album?
September 21, 200915 yr early, yes. Am i excited about this? hell f***ing yes. She's a sensational song writer and vocalist. I can't wait to see her live and hear her solo. I fully supported Mutya's solo career and i intend to do the same for keisha.
September 21, 200915 yr I think Keisha has a ton more chance of getting a hit... the core fanbase will abandom the 'Sugababes' and join KEISHA <3 #welovekeisha
September 21, 200915 yr Proper excited for this already! Moreso than I would have been for an Amelle album.
September 22, 200915 yr I don't realistically see her doing any better than Mutya did with a solo venture, but time will tell.
September 22, 200915 yr I think the fact that she got kicked out rather than left will make fans more interested and supported of her solo material.. i think her singles will do well.
September 22, 200915 yr I don't realistically see her doing any better than Mutya did with a solo venture, but time will tell. Yea, I tend to agree. It's not clear how it's going to work out. It takes a lot of talent to get it work on your own, even Alesha Dixon is still breaking through.
September 22, 200915 yr I see more of a Mutya pattern than a Siobhan one to her solo career. But i think she may have a chance to experience more longevity than Mutya. It'll be touch and go though (Mutya really should have worked the best). Critically she'll be lucky to touch Siobhan's material
September 22, 200915 yr Is Keisha still signed to the same record company that sacked her from the Sugababes?
September 22, 200915 yr I think she will do better than Mutya as I'm sure she could do better songs than half the crap on her album, better than Siobhan as it will be more comercial. I just cant picture her being solo though...I really dont like this whole situation.
September 22, 200915 yr I can't really see there being much interest in her tbh... Time will tell however.
September 22, 200915 yr Yeah I think if Mutya couldn't make it, Keisha won't either. I've always thought she has rather a poor and shrill singing voice and there's no hiding it when you're solo :heehee:
September 22, 200915 yr Yeah I think if Mutya couldn't make it, Keisha won't either. I've always thought she has rather a poor and shrill singing voice and there's no hiding it when you're solo :heehee: If she had the right songs I'm sure she could, Mutya had a great start with Real Girl, an ok follow up which to be fair wasn't her song and then JALB was released which was just awful, she even said herself the album wasn't what she wanted it to be. I have to agree though Keisha solo doesn't really interest me the way solo Mutya did...before she released the crappy album that is.
September 22, 200915 yr The Solo Sugababes haven't had any major success. However this WAS the MAIN singer of the 3 so many there is hope for her. I'm interested and hope it comes out soon :)
September 22, 200915 yr kiesha wil do amazing as a solo artist.she has an amazing voice.i cant wait.i think her and mutya should become a duo coz they will do so well together.love kiesha.
September 22, 200915 yr I don't realistically see her doing any better than Mutya did with a solo venture, but time will tell.Same. She's nothing special tbh. She's poor live from what I've seen also.I also agreed with this, until I saw them live myself. She was surprisingly OK (Still preferred the other two live though). But I always thought she was rubbish live too.
September 22, 200915 yr I have to admit I can't quite see Keisha the solo artist. On the plus side, I reckon Keisha would prove to be a more determined force than Mutya which could see her last a fair while. You know the bitch is hungry.
