Nope, it's #16.

Empire State of Mind has a slender lead at No1 now, yes.

Maybe finally it will be number 2 on the official on sunday, it don't make sense that this is still number 3.

Why did it take this long for ESoM to get to #1?

Anyway, it missed its chance, Chipmunk will romp him next week and pretty rightfully so (as much as I love ESoM)

Anyhow...

Deadmau5 up to #11, #9 (or 10?) combined

A little blast of new stuff between 36 and 40 - #36 is Beyonce, #38 is La Roux, #39 is Mumford & Sons and #40 is Tiësto.

Toto - Africa at #71. Anyone up for explaining this?

Paloma's SCS has made a return at #60.

Little Boots' Wideboys Stadium Radio Edit of Remedy is at #91.

Finally that ESoM Is #1. But yeah, it may not have a chance at #1 anymore. Plus, still #3 in midweeks. I hope it peaks higher.

I love that Toto song

Hopefully SCS will get an extra week top 75 now then ^_^

Both Toto and Paloma rising is down to Never Mind The Buzzcocks. Toto was used in the intro round and Paloma was a guest and they got her to sing the chorus of "Stone Cold Sober".
Nice to se Jay-Z and Alicia finally #1, but sadly I don't think they'll get a UK number one single now. :(
Bring on Chipmunk now that dirge is #1.

In other words, one dirge diplacing another? :w00t:

I can't see The Saturdays *not* being #1 next week, myself.

I can.

Chipmunk WILL be #1 next week. I would bet my house on it.

And if he isn't, I better bake my head in a humble pie, but I'm not even going to consider that because I'm 101% certain Chip will be #1.

It helps that Chipmunk got some free promo from the MOBO awards.

Not really IMO, as Chipmunk's track is amazing (this is coming from someone who detested Diamonds Rings & Chippy Diddy Chip [or whatever it's called]) and The Saturdays track is superb also

Chipmunk = best song of his career to date

Saturdays = underwhelming comeback

the former will be #1 easily

That Chipmunk (dear lord, what a name) is freaking terrible! :puke2:
Chipmunk's song $h!ts all over the Saturdays new song. I hope Chipmunk gets to #1

Not difficult!

But yeah, I have to admit it is slightly bearable considering. Much in the same way 'Strong Again' was N-Dubz's only remotely listenable track.

So disappointed in the Sats comeback. It sounds like an album track from Chasing Lights, and the catchy chorus that should be there is non existent. According to Popjustice, it's the weakest tune on the LP, yet it's released as the first single. Go figure.

Chipmunk may have a stupid name and have that silly Elton John rip-off with Ironik under his belt, but his song is the more listenable. I like the female vocalist on it, anyway. So Alvin for No 1!! ^_^

Number 1 with a a big lead on ITUNES and still can't pass the guetta song...
