October 4, 200916 yr 'Empire State Of Mind's chart performance is really impressive. I find the song incredibly overhyped though...
October 4, 200916 yr Another tune! I'd say this is just as good as When Love Takes Over :o i'd say it's even better.
October 4, 200916 yr It's had 14 weeks, but they have had 26 non-consecutive weeks at #1! It wasn't non-consecutive at all, just two different songs. 12wks for Boom Boom Pow, 14wks for I Gotta Feeling.
October 4, 200916 yr I haven't even heard their album and i seem to agree with you because I'm sure there is a much better 3rd single choice on their album. Rock That Body or Missing You....RTB is another track produced by Mr. Guetta ^_^.....its awesome Unfortunately it looks like I Gotta Feeling is going to beat that  I hope it doesn't, but realistically it is going to :( yes maybe.....it might be short though with X-Factor rush on the way...i predict 15 weeks

October 4, 200916 yr Author 2 (from 3) Jay-Z feat. Alicia Keys - Empire State Of Mind [D] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/JAYZBLUEPRINT.JPG Chart Run: 15-3-2 [3 wks] Format: download only track Considered one of the best lyricists to emerge in the wake of the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac's deaths, Jay-Z has since carried the flag of hip-hop narrative skill. His Roc-A-Fella family had already created a solid reputation based on Jay-Z's 1997 debut. As his fame has grown, so has his tendency to bring more R&B production elements into his work, creating a club-friendly, danceable version of east coast gangsta hip-hop that hasn't diminished his reputation as a preeminent force in rap. Perhaps even more importantly, Jay-Z has become a powerful music impresario. In his role as president/CEO of Def Jam in the early 2000s, he fostered the careers of popular R&B singers Rihanna and Ne-Yo, and enjoyed a high profile as a co-owner of the New Jersey Nets basketball team. His long relationship and eventual marriage to superstar Beyonce has further endeared him to fans - HMV Video here: Chart history (Year peak title): Jay-Z 1997 30 Can't Knock The Hustle (Jay-Z Feat.
