The Big Pink definitely didn't make it then :( What a shame, I hope it can do it in coming weeks.

Anyway, The X-Factor has brought Paparazzi back into the top 40 I see...

I think Medina missed out too :(

What about I Gotta Feeling? :kink: Being so old in the low top-40 is better than being so old in the Top-10. IMO :teresa:

yep im very much sick of that song aswell :P

I'm surprised Daniel held up, his X Factor boost was already over by like Wednesday and he had dropped to the mid 40s on iTunes. Old song anyway...

Hello guys :)

Daniel Merriweather's "Red" one of the most beautiful songs this year!

I can see that I didn't miss any interesting track yet by just tuning in now.

So 'Red' really HAS become his 'Man Who Can't Be Moved'! :o

yep im very much sick of that song aswell :P

Sex On Fire and Im Yours makes IGF and Paparazzi look as if they were released just yesterday, and they're both still in the top 40 this week, yet again?

Same, I never liked it. It's so dreary.

It's a shame it did so much better than the superior 'Change'. :(

Me too! I really enjoyed 'Change' and always found his voice grating on 'Red'. :(

I still actually really like this... the only Sean Kingston song I will ever like.

(I'll die a little inside if he releases anything nearly as good as this again )

A solid, smart pop-punk band from Tennessee, Paramore has garnered positive attention from both the music press (here and overseas) and audiences, much of it centred around the band's charming, down-to-earth frontwoman Hayley Williams, who was only 17 years old when the band released their first album. Their music is effortlessly catchy, with emo undertones leavened by a sense of humour and the punky crunch of electric guitars. In the two years between their 2005 debut and its follow-up, the band had grown musically, and its audiences have grown with it. - HMV

London pop trio Sugababes displayed grit and determination in overcoming obstacles that would have felled countless others, deftly negotiating three potentially career-threatening line-up changes and being dropped by their first label. Their fusion of contemporary urban beats and classic soul eventually won over fans and label execs alike, and the 'Babes emerged as a hugely successful pop act in the U.K. in the early 2000s. In October 2005, TALLER IN MORE WAYS, the girls' fourth full-length, became their first to top the U.K. album chart - HMV
