November 1, 200915 yr this is doing very well in the uk and hopefully will move into the UK top 5 next week,
November 1, 200915 yr MMH is definitely getting top 5 next week, and most likely top 3. Edited November 1, 200915 yr by DirtySyko
November 7, 200915 yr Agreed ^ Nowhere near as instant as previous singles, but it's SUCH a good song. Shame it won't be #1
November 15, 200915 yr Huge well done on 3 number 1's in a row, this most certainly is a fantastic era for the group and the album is top 5 this week also.
November 19, 200915 yr Number 2 in this weeks midweeks and i think will sell well over 70,000 this week again, i think meet me halfway has the potentail to sell very near 500,000 as it will sell well right until the end of the year.
March 22, 201015 yr Meet me halfway all going well over the next 2 weeks will be the black eyed peas third consecutive single to sell over 700,000 in the uk, its very near at the moment with sales on 692,855.
May 2, 201015 yr Meet Me Halfway is on te rebound again, it climbs 3 places to number 72 in the UK this week, estimated sales now stand at 713,000.
May 2, 201015 yr Don't see it staying around in the top 100 for very much longer so it will be, although I hope it does. Very very good song, will be a shame if it where not to stick around longer.
May 2, 201015 yr It may last another month in the top 100, but it has done amazingly well for a third single of a huge selling album, and will have total sales of about 730,000 id say which will be more than boom boom pow.
November 9, 201014 yr Don't know if any cares, but Meet Me Halfway has disappeared from the itunes top 1000
November 9, 201014 yr Don't know if any cares, but Meet Me Halfway has disappeared from the itunes top 1000  Yeah, I noticed that a couple of days ago. And it's strange, because everytime I've checked its chart position over the past 12 months, pretty much, it was always in the top 300. It's my favourite song from 2009, but I guess not much more than 750,000 people wanted to buy the song. :(
November 9, 201014 yr It's my favourite song from 2009, but I guess not much more than 750,000 people wanted to buy the song. :( :o You speak as though 750,000 isn't a respectable figure.
November 9, 201014 yr :o You speak as though 750,000 isn't a respectable figure. Well, three-quarters of a million is relatively good I suppose, but Meet Me Halfway is an incredible song, and I find it absolutely beautiful. However, it is the best-selling ballad released in 2009, so I guess that's something. Biggest ballad of the year. :) It's also the best-selling RnB song of 2009, and the 2nd best-selling Urban song of the year, so I guess I'm not the only one who adores the song. :D
November 9, 201014 yr I wouldn't call Meet Me Halfway a ballad... it's more mid-tempo Edited November 9, 201014 yr by Bray
November 9, 201014 yr I wouldn't call Meet Me Halfway a ballad... it's more mid-tempo Surely the definition of a Ballad is a love song as opposed to a slow song... Edited November 10, 201014 yr by Lel
