Twelve points garunteed from me. It'll flop though; Buzzjack is definitely not intelligent enough to get Joanna Newsom.

Gorgeous, gorgeous song.

I know  I might delay sending her until her new material premiers.

Please differ taste and intelligence Mdice :(

And even if someone 'gets' her art, doesn't automatically mean they'll like it -_-

Sorry, it's not bad though, didn't mean that at all..

Should have phrased that better. Her music is intellectual and Buzzjack will obviously not want that in BJSC, as it's mainly a pop driven contest.

I'm warming towards choosing Tiesto & Kianna :kink:

Do it.

It's literally just grown on me as HELL. I liked it before very much but now... EPIC. Tiesto overdose <3

I'm liking a solo Tiesto song now...not sure many would take to it at all. I did consider Bend It Like You Don't Care, but I don't think it would go down at all well in BJSC.

Another 4-minute ORGASM
  • 2 weeks later...

I'm aware that I say this at least once a week, but I have DEFINITELY found Numayania XXIII! Now to chart it this week at the risk of people nicking it, or hold it back even though I'm totally in love with it?

And why isn't this pinned btw

I'm trying not to look around for songs very much or I'll end up finding something I want to enter way too early and then have to sit on it for about a month
oooh.... oooh..... I just found my track for BJSCXXIII, much love, "keeps it close to my chest" :D
I never plan that far ahead...I don't have any sort of idea for XXIII :o

I might actually go indie next time.. :magic:

I have two unkown indie acts up for evaluation.

A bit weird, come to think of it. From Aly and AJ/Carmen and Camille I mean..

Exciting!

it's always good to change direction completely, I love sending obscure dancy stuff, but also love sending pure pop sometimes
I think we're going back to Numayania 101 next time. Not literally but... :kink:

Ugh I can't believe what I heard on the radio this evening, a song I really like from this contest has been mangled into a rubbish 'I love you baby, take me back' Rnb track :nocheer: Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek

Her song has such deep meaning, while that Jason guys song is as simplistic as they come :manson:

don't let Jonjo hear you say that, it's one of his favourite songs of the year :heehee:

I think it's pretty good but obviously Imogen's original is far far superior, very effective song

I don't get the whole appeal of alot of the RnB genre.......actually no it's not the RnB genre as a whole it's just the whole girlfriend/boyfriend theme that's been kicked to it's absolute death. Every day it seems like there's another person singing about how he messed up and he wants her to forgive him.

Can anyone at all understand how that could get on someone's last nerve very very quickly, change the record please....how many more times do they need to sing about their boy/girlfriends?

I completely agree, "Whatcha" Say is awful :P
