What's your largest amount of Weeks it's taken for a Song to reach it's peak?

(not including songs re-entering higher than previously).

Peaked 12th week:

Brandon Flowers - Only The Young peaked at #2 on its 11th week.

I actually wrote this down as I thought it was unbelieveable.

 

My longest track to peak was Innerpartysystem - Die Tonight, Live Forever. It was had a remarkable chart run between October 2008 and April 2009, reaching its peak of #15 in Week 18 and still being there on Week 20, in an unbroken run that climbed at first, fell, and then reclimbed after Christmas. Only six songs have spent longer in the chart than this, and they all reached the top two.

Needless to say, the follow up single Don't Stop had a much more regular chart run that peaked at #9.

Wretch 32's Traktor peaked at #2 13 weeks after it entered, although it spent most of this outside my chart.

 

Not sure about unbroken runs, but Nero's Me And You peaked at #5 on its ninth week:

That's probably the record I'd guess.

Nero "Me And You" peaked on its 10th week at number 4 (7-8-13-15-14-18-17-6-5-4-5-10) (12 weeks)

Chase & Status "Blind Faith" peaked on its 6th week at number 2, excluding the weeks it was out for (33-x-34-8-9-5-4-2-3-8) (9 weeks)

Rihanna "S&M" peaked on its 6th week at number 1 (8-8-11-14-2-1-1-2-1) (9 weeks)
