Yes...it is a shame but I can see compiling this must take a bit of hard work, I hope someone continues the work. I find this topic one of the most interesting and helpful topics on BuzzJack. Thank you for the work you have done MK.

I have decided to retire from compiling the New Release Schedule at the end of 2009.

 

The rise of the download has made the job more difficult and I don’t have the time and, if I’m honest, the inclination to do it anymore.

Makes total sense. I can't see Physical Release Schedule existing a year from now.

Thanks for posting this for such a time, on Buzzjack, haven and elsewhere on music forums. Been a great service having this over the years. :D

It's a total shame, you finish to do it. I think you were the most reliable member to do the schedule. I hope though someone will continue to do it!

I do have a website full of new releases, for singles and albums - just not for download only, I wouldn't mind taking over...but with download releases getting bigger, that may be a problem. People probably don't think I'm worthy enough of doing this anyway :heehee:

 

You will be missed though, MK, I know for a fact I've found this release schedule really handy, and I must say, I've taken it for granted just being there, I've never said thankyou once, because it's just been there for me to use - how selfish of me?! So, I'll say thankyou now, you're a very valuable member, and whoever may take over this thread, I sincerely doubt they can be as helpful as you have been!

Its not as easy as just copying from another website, actually it wouldn't suprise me if they were using my schedule
