Hm there's probably a few that never grew on me but I can't think of any at the moment :P
Lol, I think it's the only one but I can't stand it
I don't know, never got into it... but it was kind of annoying too.
  • 11 years later...

I'm just gonna go by album tracks + single releases, as don't really know her b-sides or other material, so here goes...

Shoo-Bee-Doo (Like A Virgin) - Awful, just awful easily the worst on 'LAV', and should have been sealed in the vault and forgotten about.

Gambler (Vision Quest Soundtrack) - Now I don't really hate this or anything, but out of her other fantastic 80's singles, this was definitely the weakest and only did so well because of her rising fame and status at the time. Very dated production and has b-side quality written all over it. Thankfully this didn't end up on any of her albums or compilations, all of which has made this one of those rare oddities that Madonna fans seem to snap up.

Jimmy, Jimmy {True Blue) - Sticks out like a sore thumb on an otherwise perfect album.

Love Song (Like A Prayer ) - Even Prince couldn't work his magic on this self indulgent tripe. This should have been a masterpiece considering 2 of the biggest stars of the era were involved, but nope we had to settle for this bitter disappointment.

Bye Bye Baby (Erotica) - Firstly so glad that the UK didn't get this as a single, but secondly why was this even a single in the first place when there's so many other better choices left. 'Rain' was the perfect ending to this era, so why did they have to go and spoil it.

American Life (American Life) - I don't see how anyone could like this song, it's so bad and cringeworthy. Easily one of her worst singles taken from one of her worst albums where Madonna tries to do social commentary and fails miserably, and this is a shining example, I know a lot of people likes this, but I HATE it with a passion and thankfully this basically tanked upon release and was well deserved.

I'm So Stupid (American Life) - Another dire moment from a not so great album and a title that says it all.

B-Day Song (MDNA) - An awful song from what's easily her worst album, glad this was only on the deluxe edition, which I didn't bother getting.

Superstar (MDNA) - To be honest I've kinda forgotten how this goes, but anyway this was lined up as a single (WHY), just falls in line with the other bad choices from this album.

Give Me All Your Luvin' (MDNA) - Definitely her worst lead single (after 'AL'), a disastrous choice that cost her dearly, namely her career. Even attaching big name stars couldn't save it and plus she already did the whole rapper collaboration thing with her last album, so why repeat the formula again. Clearly it didn't work and it's a perfect example of the album's weaknesses. I've said it before and I'll say it again 'I'm Addicted' should have lead this project, which could have easily given her another hit.

Turn Up The Radio (MDNA) - Generic rubbish and of course another bad single choice, although by this point nothing could have save this era from crumbling to the core. But anyway this song just sucks ass and should have just stayed on the album. Album fillers don't work as singles (just look at Katy Perry with 'This Is How We Do').

Bitch I'm Madonna (Rebel Heart) - Did she learn nothing from the last album, another terrible Nicki Minaj feature that's just embarrassing along with an awful music career that made her a laughing stock, Christ even Nicki couldn't even be bothered to properly appear in the video. The terrible auto-tune on her voice was annoying and should have been left on the cutting room floor or locked away, throw away the key and set fire to it, that's the kindest thing you can do with this. Sad to say the single choices before this were really good and if she was gonna go with a feature why not 'Iconic' which would have been a million times better than this.

Auto-Tune Baby [(Rebel Heart) - Dire just dire, thankfully this was only on bonus edition, but really this should have ended up on the scrap heap along with 'Bitch I'm Madonna', from an otherwise decent album which to be honest was a bit overlong and could have done with some fine-tuning to the final tracklisting.

Beautiful Stranger

WHAT?!

------------

I'll probably come back to this later with more, but the absolute worst song of hers is the dire 'Incredible' from Hard Candy. Beyond awful.

I actually quite like 'Incredible'. It ranks near the bottom of Hard Candy still but I don't think it's the worst thing she's done, for sure.
