Posted November 2, 200915 yr How long do we think this can last? Bad Boys got to Number 1 and then Cheryl knocked it off for a 2 week stay at the top. Now it looks likely that the chart will continue to be dominated by the X - Factor lot when JLS and Leona release new single in consecutive weeks. Then to top it off, we have the X-Factor Finalists releasing their version of You Are Not Alone on 16th November, before the winner releases their debut 14th December. Can the X factor lot dominate the chart until the start of the new year?
November 2, 200915 yr Absolutely, and its not just the number ones, it did a lot for whitney and westlife and will do a lot for black eyed peas this sunday.
November 2, 200915 yr Yeah, it's gonna be a total x factor domination until the end of the year.. unless Gaga can squeeze a week in at #1, which I doubt at this stage.
November 2, 200915 yr Yeah I think it will now. At least it gives sales a boost, they would be so low otherwise..
November 2, 200915 yr will be JLS this week, Leona next week, x factor finalists week after until the week of 14th December where Olly/Joe/Stacey/Lucie/Danyl/Jedward's winners single will take the spot the only hope is lady gaga sneaking a week or two there, if not, then we will be completely dominated by x factor! Im as angry as you all are!
November 2, 200915 yr To be fair, BEP has done quite well on their own. X Factor will definitely dominate the charts the end of this year.. shame as there's been some good songs that deserved #1.

November 2, 200915 yr Actually hasn't GaGa been confirmed? I don't think so...Perez Hilton probs would've announced something on her site, as he loves her so much
November 2, 200915 yr It'll last 7 weeks. Alex - Cheryl - Cheryl - JLS - Leona - Finalists - Finalists. Ke$ha or Susan Boyle will then go to #1 for 2 weeks. Then the winner will be #1 for the rest of '09 and 1 or 2 weeks of '10. Edited November 2, 200915 yr by BrayFish
November 2, 200915 yr The X Factor fever will last until the end of the year like usual. Acts like Alex B, JLS, Cheryl and Leona may defo still dominate at the start of the year or later. Edited November 2, 200915 yr by I Am FM11
November 2, 200915 yr I'm amazed by the domination of X Factor this year, even more so than usual. Alexandra, Cheryl, JLS, Leona... and that's without the obligatory winner's single and now charity single. I'm quite the fan and I'm glad it's making sales huge again, but enough already!
November 2, 200915 yr You're all forgetting the greatness that is "SuBo" 9xGyQEQF3Kk Susan Boyle - Wild Horses
November 2, 200915 yr Susan Boyle and Lady Gaga are both (rumoured at the moment) to appear on the X Factor though, meaning they too are part of the X Factor domination. (I know they're always going to do well on their own, but then so was Cheryl, even without her XF performance she would've been #1)
November 2, 200915 yr Susan Boyle will definitely have an X Factor performance. Simon would never not give her one.
November 2, 200915 yr I really do hate X-Factor because of this. Enough is enough. They are the reason I really dislike the last quarter of the year when it comes to the charts, everything is so predictable, not to mention they boost the most overrated old songs back up the charts.

They are the reason I really dislike the last quarter of the year when it comes to the charts, everything is so predictable, not to mention they boost the most overrated old songs back up the charts. I totally agree. That is precisely why I did not bother finding out the chart until I came online this evening. Where as in the past I would have been so sad (when visiting relatives/friends) to nip to my ccar and turn on the Radio in time for the Top 40 countdown circa 18:45 Hrs on Sunday.
November 2, 200915 yr I know this sounds a bit bad because its for charity but its the finalists song that i really dislike. Its not enough to have an xfactor winner, all the finalists have to have a single aswell. Its just ridiculous, to have two massive cover songs at number one in such a short space of time, and absolute gaurenteed number ones, even if they were covers of agadoo and the cheeky girls. Just
