Except there was no unpleasant tone at all when she actually said it on the live. There was only a hundred or so of us on it who saw the entire thing unfold. There was no malice in what was said. She was asked her opinion and she said that she didn’t think they were good singers but that they were great entertainers. We’re all fully entitled to our opinion but let’s not tear down someone at the direction of a skeezy rag with an agenda when y’all don’t have the full facts. Makes you no better than what you accusing Mutya of being innit.

She was just rambling her opinions on an Instagram live for fans who asked - none of it is really controversial; we know neither Kylie and J-Lo are great singers as such, especially since you know when Mutya thinks of great singers it's more along the lines of classic R&B/ballad singers. Ellie's voice is a bit marmite, so that's nothing new. Nicole Scherzinger is more famous for dancing and putting on a show with PCD than she is for putting out Mariah Carey-esque ballads etc. She wasn't mouthing off randomly to the press.
While I am definitely not agreeing with some of her statements (yes, Kylie may not be a powerhouse but she can more certainly hold a tune and say what you want about Nicole, but girl can sing), the fact that this paper wrote "The washed-up founder member" is most definitely the worst part. What the actual F. Who writes this?

Really interesting video on the background of 'Freak Like Me' and how it played a part in shaping Noughties pop music:

Freak Like Me was a big and important part of a group with such complicated history.
They are over, aren't they?

The fauxbabes that Tombo posted? Yeah absolutely and good riddance.

The originals? Nah. Everyone is being overly cautious with Corona, Siobahn especially, so we will see more from them as we move into the post-corona period.

I thought this video was super interesting. Especially in the detail it goes into on how Freak came into being. It’s a truly remarkable track that doesn’t really sound like anything else. (Yes I know it’s a mashup but it evolved the sound of both original tracks and nothing from the 00‘s or since has really captured that essence of what made Freak special)

Siobahn especially

Problematic Queen.

Siobhan Donaghy has released a Collector’s Edition of Revolution In Me to stream and download.

20 songs instead of the standard 12, it includes the 5 b-sides plus radio versions of Overrated and Twist Of Fate.

Me too, Ghosts had so many great songs that weren’t even b-sides. A 20 track edition of Ghosts would be amazing.

Givin' In is my favourite b-side. She should definitely release a Ghosts collector's edition!

Taken from a recent interview with Mutya:

Can we expect any new music from you in 2021?

Yes you are going to hear new music! I've got a feature on Snowman Baby's single, 'Your Love Your Way'. It's a very summery track which I'm looking forward to. I'm working on another project which is a house type project, so I'm waiting for all of that to go through and I've got a garage track coming out too. Theres a few more bits and pieces and I've got stuff with the girls.

I honestly don't know what to believe or expect with these girls though. So maybe we got some new stuff in 2030?

At least she didn’t say soon?

Stoked to see a special edition of Rev out there. Makes me feel like Theres some hope for something to Mark Ghosts turning 15 next year

I think it was my favourite album of 2007, I played it so many times!

12 Bar Acid Blues, Coming Up For Air, Make It Right, Goldfish, the singles... actually the whole album is stunning.

Medevac was my standout - should have been a single!

Am I correct in remembering that was rumoured to be the third single?
