Oooh I actually bought all 5 of those. Chasing Lights is obviously one of my favourite albums of last year, Wordshaker just about ranks above it though. Drastic Fantastic was good from what I remember aswell - shame it didnt perform half as well as the debut.

Turn It Up is a very strong debut aswell. Ten Feet High was ok I guess - cant say I remember much of it, I think i sold my copy of it.

Tissues & Issues was fantastic aswell. Charlotte should make another pop album.

I agree with all of this, apart from I liked Andrea's album more obviously :heehee:

KT Tunstall 'Drastic Fantastic' --- MEH. I heard it after hearing a song I really liked on the album in HMV so I downloaded and thought it was "meh". Can't remember the name of the song I like now, but it's most certainly not 'Hold On' :puke:

Pixie Lott 'Turn It Up' --- :D Good album.

thanks Jonjo :D it certainly was no Eye To The Telescope which is MUCH MUCH higher but I still liked most of the songs...Hold On was infectious!

Oh I've noticed a fault in your blog...

LOL :snif:

haha, when I said this I obviously hadn't realised that people actually agreed with me that it was far inferior to Bleeding Love and Run

most people were praising it universally! I won't be unhappy if it lands at #2 as I don't think it deserves the success of those songs :o still a decent song, but only as decent as Better In Time or Forgive Me

I agree actually. Happy is weak. But i have to say that X-factor performance was fantastic and totally made me think she deserved number one with that :(

Here's what I know. Bolded those I like. :D

Nelly Furtado feat Timbaland - Promiscuous – 2006

Gabriella Cilmi - Sweet About Me – 2008

Serebro – Song #1 - 2007

Girls Aloud – Love Machine - 2004

H ‘Two’ O – What’s It Gonna Be - 2008

Kylie Minogue - Wow - 2008

Nelly Furtado – Say It Right - 2007

Kate Nash – Foundations - 2007

James Blunt – You’re Beautiful - 2005

Mika – Grace Kelly - 2007

Girls Aloud – The Loving Kind - 2008

Beautiful Small Machines – Robots In Love - 2009

Nelly Furtado – Maneater - 2006

Aly & AJ – Potential Break Up Song - 2007

Mariah & Westlife – Against All Odds - 2000

Albums:

Charlotte Church - Tissues and Issues - 2005 [unheard]

Pixie Lott - Turn It Up - 2009 [seriously great.]

Andrea Corr - Ten Feet High - 2007 [unheard]

KT Tunstall - Drastic Fantastic - 2007 [Good album, not a patch on the beautiful debut album () though.]

The Saturdays - Chasing Lights - 2008 [Decent at best album. Didn't see the full fuss on it.]

HAHA! Did my post come across like I'd heard & liked 'Eye to the Telescope'? :heehee: Ooops. I haven't heard it and don't want to either. 'Big Black Horse & The Cherry Tree' & 'Suddenly I See' are atrocious imo :puke: 'Other Side of the World' is in a different league though  'Another Place to Fall' and 'Under the Weather' didn't grab me either.

oh :snif: you'll be disappointed to see Suddenly I See in my top 100 of the decade then :heehee: I love her

Another Place to Fall wasn't up to much but I LOVED the other four singles from ETTT

Counting Down The Days  Absoulutely adored that album. Shiver was the highlight of the first half of 2005 imo.

Timbaland - Shock Value One of the best urban album ever!

Jewel - 0304

Natalie Imbruglia - Counting Down The Days

The Saturdays - Chasing Lights

KT Tunstall - Drastic Fantastic

Pixie Lott - Turn It Up

Kylie Minogue - X - 2007 - this album is only what I heard in full. The One is

Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape - 2006 - very good album.

A fabolous set of albums. Good Girl Gone Bad was probably my favorite album of 2007. Amy's album really suprised me aswell, I didnt think much of Mr Rock & Roll or LA but the majority of the rest was brilliant.

Dance Love Pop was brilliant as was Jordin's. Is Battlefield still to come? I cant decide which one of her albums i prefer.

nope, it's too recent to have made that much of an impact yet, although it did top my chart, like the debut did

The Sweet Escape missed out :snif: I'll have my fingers crossed that you regard LAMB better, so do I. Massive Gwen fan.

Disappointed to see GGGB miss out aswell, probably one of my all time favourite albums.
