Its all set up for an act from Simon's group to win it, btw, did Simon say yesterday, something along the lines to Lucie, " that was one of the best tracks you sang in this competition". Its funny also Simon always gets the last vote to decide.

tbh I'd predict Stacey to go next the way things are looking.

This X Factor stopped being about singing ability, and talent, the moment Danyl was torn to shreds over his 'supposed' personality - FACT.

The reaction in this thread is hilarious. X-Factor is about one thing only, and that one thing is Simon Cowell. It's always been obvious. Everything he does is because it'll earn him more money.

Which of them will win? Probably neither.

Voting which one one out will give X-Factor the most publicity this week? Lucie.

Which one will bring higher viewing figures if left in? Jedward.

Which will bring more votes throughout the rest of the series? Jedward (as a protest).

To be honest I don't it's been spelled out as much as it has been this year......but now I have to wonder...is this what Simon has been doing all along. And I've been too busy happily supporting acts to realize it :(

there's a group on facebook called 'simon cowell is a twat' that was made 40 mins ago, it almost has 500 members. goes to show how many people hate his decision.

It shouldnt have been Lucie, but it was the wrong bottom 2. Lloyd shoudve been there. But now it is clear Simons hate of Jedward isnt real and he did that purely because he knew lucie would go and J&E are keeping the ratings up

Isn't it funny how yesterday everyone was like "LOL I LOVE THEM 11/10", "AT LEAST IT'S ENTERTAINING" and in contrast, today, there's a huge backlash and people boycotting it because they stayed?

 

It's a ridiculous result and Simon is more transparent than ever, but I guess we should have expected it. I suppose this will only boost the 'protest' vote, but would Simon really be bothered? Flogging novelty acts was what broke him in the first place. He'd lose any credibility he has left but he, more than anyone, can launch that sort of act.

Lloyd got a sympathy vote. Same happened with Danyl last week. Another way the voting is so engineered. Remember Pop Idol? 10 decent singers, hard to pick which one should stay though most weeks the weakest act left. There was no sing off, completely down the public. No one was there controversially (after Rik Waller pulled out) and most were happy with the winner. No sob stories (Gareth Gates had a stutter but it was hardly made into the dramas we get on X-Factor these days). People voted for their favourite act and it was not about the judges (though they did become stars). And do you know who didn't come up with Pop Idol? Mr Cowell.

Jamie and Danyl for bottom 2 next week. (I'd LOVE for it to be Lloyd, but I don't see it happening until it's just the public votes now :()

 

Also people are moaning, Simon took it to deadlock, so obviously the least popular of the two went. Although I don't agree that the right one went, it was the publics vote in the end and had this series just gone on public votes, Lucie would have gone (evidently)

Oh, I agree, I've never found them entertaining and they've always been towards the bottom of my rankings. It's just yesterday, whether they were being serious or not, the comments for them on here were much more positive. I was wondering if people were being serious about liking them. Clearly not.
