Nothing deserves to be higher than About A Girl TBH! 3 bland-to-the-bone songs (Leona, JLS, Cheryl) and 2 common chavy songs (BEP, N-Dubz) ahead of About A Girl just shows you how bad the public's taste in music is! :(

Not when the album isn't released yet. It's like a first single, noone has already got it.

They will miss the top5 which is disappointing for an exclusive single (and the fact they've been all over the press for weeks).

I don't think there is a chance for top3 with such a tough competition...also considering there have been almost no rpomotion for this song (apart for the whole line up change drama :rolleyes: ). But a top5 would be great!

It's going to be nail-bitingly close between 4 and 7 this week and Sugas could end up anywhere between there. Hopefuly 4 and 5! :o I REALLY want About A Girl to go top 5! COME ON SUGABABES! Radio 1 will probably move them to A-list after Sunday, so maybe it can peak next week perhaps?

I was just saying About A Girl was superior to the songs above it, I wasn't calling Leona fat or Cheryl pathetic or something like that - that is bashing. Calling a song bland is not. And let's face it, N-Dubz and BEP do appeal mostly to the Urban or chavy markets I'm stating a fact, not putting together an insult!

And for AAG being superior to Leona or Cheryl's songs, that's only your openion. I think AAG is the weakest of the lot released this week, so accept people may have other opinions and don't state your opinion as a fact.

Why is everyone so against people PROMOTING? :huh: If it was Sugababes on X-Factor you'd be all for it! People should be greatful that there is still something for people to promote on.

OK, first, it seems like you've realized that you unnecessarily went and lied about me "slagging", thank you.

Second, you've misread a post yet again, I didn't state my opinion as a whole as a fact :rolleyes: I said BEP and N-Dubz appeal mostly to the urban or chav markets, it IS a fact, your friends aren't exactly the majority of the market are they? N-Dubz is almost the UK version or prodigy version of BEP, yet everyone calls them chavs but not BEP when both their music styles are almost identical!

My opinion in my post was that the songs above AAG were inferior to it, that isn't a fact! I never said it was, read a post twice before putting together a post based on your misreading. Why are you here to argue with people anyway? We aren't supposed to argue in here anyway so learn to read and learn the rules and maybe there'll be a lot less drama in here! :drama:

And I stand by my point, BEP have become much more than a urban band, lots of people and music critics would even classify them as a pop band now. And I'm 100% sure most of their audience isn't "chavvy" or urban. If you want to deny it, lead a survey and show me the results ;)

Robbie will definitly pass the 200,000 sales mark by sunday but i think JLS could do likewise or very near aswell.

Snow Patrol are selling quite well also and im hoping they will hold top 3 come sunday.

Firstly. My mum likes BEP and believe me, she does not like chavvy music. She usually listens to abba and the beatles. They appeal to everyone and are nothing like n-dubz.

 

Secondly, i have never had an issue with people promoting but one argument i would understand is artists like britney, girls aloud and bep have all had to prove themselves as artists first and make it big from absolute scratch before they could appear on xfactor. People like leona, alexandra and jls have had their success handed to them on a plate with highly enviable over exposure. They are the spolit brats of the music industry :kink:

If JLS didnt have 5 different covers, I highly doubt they would be over even 100K right now. Which is yet another reason why it will be a travesty if they beat Robbie <_<
