I think the reason pixie isnt doing so well is because little boots is around aswell and not long ago it was adele.

 

Pixie has done brilliantly, really. I don't think anyone expected her to do as well as she has. Two number one singles and a Gold certified album - who saw that coming?

Maybe her singles and album haven't sold ridiculous amounts of copies, but she has built a large fanbase and has really got her name out there. She has secured exceptional foundations for her future in music. Unlike Little Boots and Florence, Pixie came from nowhere. She had never toured or released buzz singles before 'Mama Do', so her success has been a big surprise.

 

If anyone hasn't done so well, it's Little Boots. I think 'Hands' will be her best selling album.

Yeah, Rihanna's song has really grown on me and now I love it.. I'd much rather see it at #1 than that overhyped x factor shit. But apart from that, there's going to be a top 20 cleanout next week.

Yeah i actually agree with andy here, there are so many british females coming out now, and most of them are only average.

Well British male acts have done VERY well this year. Tinchy, Chipmunk, Dizzee, Calvin (Scottish but still counts as British doesn't he? :unsure:), Taio Cruz and I'm sure I've missed one or two...

I don't think that XFF are out tonight. They are premiereing the song on XF tomorow night, so I think it will be released after their performance tomorow.
