I've never been a huge fan of it.

Everything about it is good apart from the title. 'Telephone' the only person I know who even says that word ever is my granny. No-one in their life has referred to their mobile as their telephone.

I often refer to mine as my "magic telephone", but of course that's purely in an ironic way.

I don't feel like it has aged well, but the video is definitely still watchable and so iconic!

it’s an incredible pop song with around 8 different hooks all at play - it’s insane. basic it is not.

 

THIS. Telephone remains one of her best for me (probably 3rd behind Bad Romance and Telephone) and doesn't seem to get as much love as it deserves these days. The song is one big hook, completely addictive and the most fun experience to listen to from start to finish.

It's cross 1 million sales in the UK :D
