So Chris Brown is set to follow up the hugely successful 'Exclusive' album with a new album towards the end of this year. With 'I Can Transform Ya' gaining radio play and video plays, it is holding steady on iTunes and is looking likely to become a moderate hit. Will that help him? Or has everyone not yet forgiven for the Rihanna incident, and will it effect his sales?

Timbaland decides to follow up his 'Timbaland presents Shock Value' album with another album full of collaborations. With 'Morning After Dark' looking set to become a decent sized hit when it's released, and with Radio 1 backing it, can he follow the major success of the first 'Shock Value' album? Or has his production worn thin and are people getting bored with this dated sound?

I think it should easily be Timbaland on both. I'm not sure Chris Brown will ever quite be as big as he was before here. I think the album will do about the same as the single and land between 21-30, maybe top 20. Timbaland should be a safe bet for top 5, if only for the big names he has on there.

This reminds me, I still need to get Chris Brown's single, I've heard it a few times and I really like it now.

I can see both semi-flopping actually, there seems to be no real buzz around either of them this time...

Timbaland #19

Chris Brown #29

Well considering their comeback singles re exceptionally weak and nobody seems to care and also with the fact they'll get lost in the Christmas rush I expect both to debut very low and possibly peak in the new year when more singles are released...

Anyway I think it will be:

Timbaland [16]

Chris Brown [28]

Timbaland will sell more in the long-run due to all the 'collabarations' on there, but come on, he's so 2007.

Timbaland will get a higher peak, although he'll do no way NEAR as well as his he did with 'Shock Value I', as others have said.

I'd love Chris to do well as I love his music (and this era seems to be by far his strongest for me) but he's bound to not do so well due to the Rihanna incident.

'I Can Transform Ya' is amazinggg though.

'Shock Value II' will be higher and sell more in the long run but it won't be that big until next year methinks.

I said Chris Brown for both, but I think they will both be major flops.
Timbaland for both but I agree that there's no big interest in these two at the moment at least. Quite looking forward to the Timbaland collabs though.

There is very little anticipation for these two.

Timbaland will debut higher, and sell more over time.

Timbo. ^_^

'Graffiti' has probably the best cover of the year for me.
