Posted November 15, 200915 yr I think top 10 with perfomance on X Factor. But, it's also digitally only and she's never been good on digital here + busy weeks. xZq3ni77T1A Just press poll choice, do use not the add Poll Question Edited November 16, 200915 yr by Mikey to add poll
November 16, 200915 yr Probably best that nobody ever sees that video! Sometimes 'better late than never' simply isn't true. Anyway it depends on the quality of the perf. Top 20 I reckon.
November 16, 200915 yr Probably not even Top 75 if she weren't performing on X Factor, lol. I guess it would be #16 or so... So Top 20. Maybe the album can be Top 10 too, as she's doing X Factor, Alan Carr, This Morning, GMTV that week...
November 16, 200915 yr Well she performed last year I Stay in Love and that still flopped so I wouldn't be surprised if this one flops and after the disastrous chart performance of Obsessed. Who knows? She really lost her appeal in the UK. ^_^
November 16, 200915 yr I said top 20. I think it'll still perform poorly with all the promo. We got "Obsessed" ages ago, the video was getting decent rotation and the remix proved it could have been a hit, but we never got a release. Now this arrived to radio about a month or two ago (I heard it on Heart a few times initially) but any interest from commercial radio appears to have gone. The video is awful too. So basically I can't see the video or song getting that much airplay, so it'll all ride on the performances. Now we have to think of "I Stay In Love", that only managed to go top 100 (#95 I think?) after an X Factor performance. But factoring that this is a lead single, and a more well known song, I'm thinking it could manage top 20. I'm hope I'm wrong though, top 10 would be nice.
November 16, 200915 yr Top 10 by default - but she's VERY lucky she's been given the X Factor gig, because otherwise this would have been a big FLUSH. I know I Stay In Love suggests success does not automatically come from the X Factor, but did she not wait quite a few weeks after her appearance before releasing the single? I'm surprised she's been brought back though, given how half-arsed she was last year. Let's have Britney on a second time whilst we're at it
November 16, 200915 yr She'll do a Whitney... Whitney was already out though and had some momentum before the X-Factor appearance. Mumu hasn't, so I don't think it will match Million Dollar Bill, but go in around #9 or #10 instead.
November 16, 200915 yr Jesus christ, why does this woman continually release such shit? :arrr: ('Obsessed' and 'Loving You Long Time' aside out of recent efforts). Just outside the top 10 for this.
November 16, 200915 yr Well she performed last year I Stay in Love and that still flopped so I wouldn't be surprised if this one flops and after the disastrous chart performance of Obsessed. Who knows? She really lost her appeal in the UK. ^_^ She performed that right at the beginning of the performances show though, ~6m will have been watching as it was only at the beginning of the build up to peak viewers. This will be shown in the middle of the results show with ~13m watching.
November 16, 200915 yr Good to hear her return to ballads, rather than all the urban $h!te she's been doing in recent years... :)
November 16, 200915 yr Not really keen on this cover tbh. Top 40 at best. Shame they scrapped Obsessed :(
