November 18, 200916 yr I think Leona's album sales are lower than most of us (if not all of us) would have assumed, but we've been spoiled with huge sales in the last month. Leona not achieving the highest sales of all is different to what we became used to with her debut album. This could not be called a flop though. In its own right without comparing to a select few, midweek #1 and 50k shifted is still fantastic. It'll be interesting to see what Susan Boyle opens with next week!!

November 18, 200916 yr I'm a bit miffed about Jason DeRulo having quite low sales. Okay, they're not low, and he'll still sell at least a good 50-60k, but I thought this would do 100k. Also, BEP increased their lead on Jason DeRulo by 200 :| No #2 for JDR in that case? Maybe he'll do a Jay-Z, passing #2 after a boost at the weekend due to going #1 on iTunes. When you compare the talent last year to this year then I think the answer is as clear as day. It didn't help that the performance on Sunday was perhaps one of the worst televised performances I have ever witnessed in my life, even Jordan on Eurovision was better.

Yeh i expected better sales, especially with it being michael jackson. I think maybe a lot of people have been having clearouts at home and have found a huge pile of charity cover cd's and thought why the hell do i buy these things and never even listen to them and then they clutter my house? So its probably made a lot of people think :lol:
