November 24, 200916 yr TFM is actually considered to be an EP and not a proper studio album. Surely it can break the record for the highest selling EP as well as a record for having every track on an album/EP to chart simultaneously in one week? :o She's doing so well. Bad Romance deserves a much better peak though and is there perhaps any sign of Telephone in the top 40 if anyone's still got the info? It won't count as one in the UK, since we only get the two disc version. Anyway, many EPs have been big on the singles charts in the past. No Telephone today, but expect to see it tomorrow.
November 24, 200916 yr ^ Don't worry, Bad Romance won't peak this week, plus, isn't GaGa performing it on x factor soon? #1 is actully still a possibility. ^_^ Edited November 24, 200916 yr by SugaRush
November 24, 200916 yr Bad romance is easily her best single after poker face, i can see bad romance staying around the charts for ages and building up very good sales, 2009 has definitly being a huge year for lady gaga and its gonna be very tough for her to follow it up.

How's it going to be tough when she's just released an album with better reviews than what she had with The Fame, and is having a much higher initial success than The Fame sales and chartswise. Both Telephone and Bad Romance are huge #1 contenders and Monster could easily go top 3/5 and all 8 tracks from The Fame Monster should be charting within the top 75 this week, where GaGa had no album track from The Fame go top 75 so she is definitely going to follow up her debut era's success with The Fame Monster era going into 2010 with a possibility of equaling it in the long run. .

November 24, 200916 yr Oh God. I really hope that Lady Gargoyle doesn't beat Leona (and I don't even like Leona). Loads of fuss over absolutely nothing. :puke:
November 24, 200916 yr Slightly off topic, but there is no question that it will be tough for Gaga to maintain the success she has had. I'm sure she will do it, but that doesn't make it easy.
November 24, 200916 yr Really impressed with The Fame Monster on my first listen today :D Tbh I'm not really surprised Mika's 'Rain' flopped. I absolutely loved his first album but his second one just isn't doing anything for me despite repeated listens :( Britney deserves to flop too. I like a lot of her stuff but it was ridiculous to release another compilation so soon
November 24, 200916 yr What an awful top2 for the singles :o I want "Bad Romance" and "Russian Roulette" top3 instead  And what a shock to see Leona dropping behind JLS :o
November 24, 200916 yr Oh god, I'm a generic little pop bitch too :o :wacko:Well that goes without saying Ben. Surely? :kink: :P Expecting to see 'Telephone' Top 30 tomorrow. Or high Top 40 at least. :D
November 25, 200916 yr I mean it will be tough for lady gaga to follow up with her next full brand new studio album, the fame monster is more like a continuation of the fame, the fame monster will do very well for her im not dounting that. But remember we have seen this before a hugely successfull era is very hard to follow up, mika and rihanna for example had huge success with their last album, even the deluxe versions of the albums done very well and all the singles were huge, but look at their follow ups, they havnt exactly set the world on fire. Im not critisicing Lady Gaga, but anyone who has had a huge selling album always finds the follow up era never quite matches the previous release and there are so many examples of this, snow patrol eyes open was huge the follow up a 100 million suns didnt do half aswell. Kylie Minogue's fever album was massive the follow body language didnt do near aswell, and mika and rihanna that i have previously mentioned are the same and the list goes on. I dont doubt that when lady gaga releases her next full brand new album she will probably do well but i think she will struggle for any of her future albums to hail the success the the fame era has achieved for her.

The fame monster is a brand new studio album with 8 new tracks of separate conceptual and musical body of works. Not to be confused with The fame monster delux edition which is the fame and the fame monster combined.
