I was so excited for this album, but some of my favourites have been left off. It is really solid, but much of it is second rate 'TiK ToK'. 'Stephen', 'Your Love Is My Drug' and 'Backstabber' are clearly the best tracks. The start of 'Stephen' is auto-tuned to death - but it adds to the charm. 'While You Were Sleeping' should have been on this album.

 

There is no question, though, I will buy this the day it comes out!

Well, I've listened to the album enough by now to form an opinion on my favourites etc. (what with the early leaks of some songs, the MQ leak and now the retail!):

'Stephen' is the weakest track on 'Animal' I think, it's the only track I'm not overly keen on though really - great album overall imo!

 

Still gutted 'Get in Line' isn't on there though. :'[

So glad that Backstabber made the tracklisting :wub: Dancing With Tears In My Eyes is absolutely amazing :wub: Love it to bits! Same with Blind and of course Tik Tok and Blah Blah Blah. Easily a contender for the Album of 2010 for me already :wub: Dinosaur is probably the weakest track out of all of them. Loved the live version but this one sounds very meh to me. Animal, remixed by the right person can be a club banger. PAARDH is a bit repetivite but just as loveable. Very solid album for me. 9/10

Stephen and Your Love Is My Drug (which is a guaranteed smash hit) are my two favourites whilst Backstabber is a hell of a lot better than I recall it being :o :lol:

09.5 Animal - Instant favourite, reminds me of Sweet Disposition at the start for some reason and it doesn't even sound like her in the verses, great song.

 

Overall: A very solid pop album with a lot of grower's and a lot of potential singles.

ERGH! Why does EVERY artist have to at least have one rubbish track on their album? Is it essential or something? :lol: She should have replaced 'Boots & Boys' with 'Get In Line' or 'Butterscotch' (Preferably the former for me) and this album would have been very nearly, almost perfect! ERGH!
