I think 'Oh No!' would make a great 2nd single, it's has a great beat and easily the catchiest song from the album, something I think her record label would want to release.

Personally I find 'Are You Satisfied?' less quirky than most of the other songs from the album, which would be a good choice for a single, but maybe not as the follow-up to 'Hollywood'.

I can't see 'Shampain' being a single at all, even though I love the song.

No no no to Shampain.

I remember when there were rumours it was the first single. It's not terrible but I think it's just one of those songs that doesn't really work.

Let's have some kind of dicussion in here plz. :(

I think the next single will be 'Are You Satisfied?'. :o It's one of the strongest off the album along with 'Oh No!' but i think management will stick with it.

OMG I hope you're right

My ideal single choices would be:

01| 'Hollywood'

02| 'Are You Satisfied?'

03| 'I Am Not A Robot'

04| 'Oh No!'

AHHHH! That would quite simply be the most perfect era for her imo. They'd all go Top 20 at the very least I should think.

Mine arrived in the post today  Listening through for the billionth time or something  AHHHH! This album really is THE album of the decade/year so far!

Maybe it's JUST ME but I don't see what is so amazing about the record. I have only listened twice but it certainly didn't come near "record of the decade so far" standard. I'd rate it in the top five this year, but I don't think it's as good as Owen Pallett, These New Puritans or Vampire Weekends new album. And I doubt it will come up to the level of Joanna Newsom's album when I get round to listening to that. Still, will probably grow on me. (:
Listening... arrived in the post "Oh No" this has to be a single.

I like the album a lot but it's being a bit overrated in this thread. Towards the back of the album there are some quite forgettable songs. Plus I was never that big a fan of I Am Not A Robot in the first place, hope she doesn't decide to re-release it :(

I Am Not A Robot is the weakest thing on the album for me. I am really enjoying the album, it works as a whole and there's not a single track that I dislike. The highlights on first few listens are Are You Satisfied?, Shampain, Mowgli's Road, Obsessions, Hollywood, Hermit The Frog, Oh No! and Numb.

I've never really 'got' 'Shampain' and I don't really think it'd work as a single personally.

'Oh No!' is the obvious choice imo...

My album arrived this morning but I had work  Going to listen to it now :cheer:

Just about through the whole album now and on first listen I quite like it. I wouldn't say it's blown me away, but I think it will grow on me more as I play it more.

First album I've bought blind without ever hearing a track too  *Wipes brow*

'Hollywood'? :heehee:

#3 on iTunes album chart.

The Family Jewels is quite a nice song.
