November 29, 200916 yr #16 is a disappointment, but 32k is still really good sales and outsold AGLM's first week sales ... maybe even matched GGGB's? So it's not too much of an issue. Sales > Position. The position is really bad, but still the sales are pretty bad following on from an album that sold 1.5 million and everyone was expecting this to be so huge, and plus I don't think the album is likely to have consistent sales over time either.
November 29, 200916 yr Glad JLS are still number 2 :D And according to the spoilers on page 1 they sold over 100k for a third successive week too

November 29, 200916 yr The position is really bad, but still the sales are pretty bad following on from an album that sold 1.5 million and everyone was expecting this to be so huge, and plus I don't think the album is likely to have consistent sales over time either. I think Rated R will climb into the top 10 next week though after X Factor.
November 29, 200916 yr I think that TF and TFM sales are combined. they did that for the Aussie chart and we'll see if they do that in the US. In countries where the 8 new songs are only available to buy with The Fame e.g. UK, AUS then the sales are combined and counted as a rerelease. But in countries where the 8 new songs are available to buy seperately in their own EP e.g. USA then the EP will chart seperately however the deluxe that has The Fame on to will be counted with The Fame. Hope that clears it up for everyone :)
November 29, 200916 yr Author I think Rihanna's album has got a bit lost in the xmas album rush. Hopefully it will improve when she gets some promo?
November 29, 200916 yr And according to the spoilers on page 1 they sold over 100k for a third successive week too Wow :o
November 29, 200916 yr LOL at Spears in albums  still it should have missed the top 40... JLS are so boring now, much worse than Beat Again.
November 29, 200916 yr I think Rated R will climb into the top 10 next week though after X Factor. I wouldn't bank on that really...
November 29, 200916 yr Rihanna is on Cheryl's Night In aswell so that should give the album a boost. Edited November 29, 200916 yr by Chris.
