I remember I had just moved to my current house and me and my brother had to share a room for the first time in three years and our beds hadn't arrived yet so we were sleeping on air beds. He told me Cliff had climbed to no.1 and I think I laughed. My Nan bought that too. oh, I wish I was 11 again!

I'd only been listening to the charts fot 2 years at the time and back then a no.1 climber was an extreme rarety! If only it had spilled over to 2000 just so Cliff would stop banging on about not having a no.1 this decade!
