really :o maybe because some of the indie songs in Semi 1 are a bit weak, I've heard far better indie in this contest

 

Hmm, perhaps im hinting a bit too heavily here then.

All im saying is that semi 1 could be turned on its head instantly. The voting has been a lot more spreaded that what you'd have expected it to be.

Semi 2 is close around the qualifying/not qualifying borders atm, but there are quite a few songs that are doing very well and I firmly dont expect voting to suddenly collapse for them.

I shall shut up now.

For me, there are less 10/10s and 9/10s then usual.. but the amount of 8/10s is sky high!

 

And the amount of awful songs has strongly decreased too! :D

Recap's hardly the end of the world, doesnt take that much effort to find a video of the song yourself on youtube surely? And has there actually been a problem with the MP3's? I have now voted in semi 1 (as have Ojnoj :) ) meaning that we are now 50% of the way there with semi 1. Semi 2 should get a move on.

I think this might be one of those contests where I dislike very little, but don't love very much. I think the songs that stood out are, unsurprisingly, the favourites. I'm still expecting to DNQ. UGH.

 

edit: ooft, lots of shade being thrown around. I think it's going find. Phil was great stepping in and giving us MP3s, Rob is doing his best with the recaps. (no one else is exactly jumping in with offers) and I assume Aled is doing fine.

To be honest I'm not that fussed with the recaps I never use them. I rather hear the tracks in full, you could easily miss a potential track if you don't hear it in full.

 

Aled is doing a brilliant job.
