It's a shame Poker Face dipped out of the Top 75 for the first time ever on Sunday, as it'll obviously race back in this week. Would have been cool if it'd stayed in all year since release.

Ironically, that's exactly what happened to The Fame (week before The Fame Monster was released) <_<

I got some on a few days ago when she was still at a ludicrous 16/1. I won't say how much I stand to win though in case I jinx it!! AAAAHHH! This is going to be an exciting one.

I put a tenner on at 16/1 which would be £170 back but I'm growing increasingly worried about Rage Against The Machine...I have no problem with them entering at #3 however :P

I'm so pleased for Ego! :D

thanks for the pop bars please keep them coming... pleased to see she's so far ahead digitally. Just gotta hope Peter Kay runs out of steam in the real world.

I know me too... but surely most of the people who are joining the group are just clicking "accept" rather than making a real commitment to actually buying the song.

this is what I'm hoping, although Jeff Buckley's campaign did shockingly well last year...ruining my similar £10 bet at 16/1 I had on Leona's Run being xmas #2

I was furious when it climbed back to #2 the week after xmas after Jeff had predictably slumped away

Buckley's case was different. I don't think the success of the song was really linked to the campaign, but more to the fact that people wanted to download the original (just like they do every week when contestants perform old songs). Buckley's song has been a big success all around Europe in 2008, so it was no surprise to see it doing really well in the UK considering X Factor massive exposure.

WOW!

Ego :

UK - #27

Ireland #11

it's so high in Ireland! :o

JB's wasn't the original although the original actually charted in the Top 40 as well.

Just wondering if JLS - one shot could please be added to the Itunes updates..

Bad Romance got quite a bit of a lead now :D So hopefully it can stay number 1 this week

Oops yeah sorry, Cohen's version was the original one.

I mean Buckley's version was getting popular period at that time (as pretty massive in Europe) so the X Factor exposure gave it a big boost. Plus his version was sublime

I agree. It had been a download hit for a while anyway and made the top 40 the week before X Factor thanks to a BBC ad.
