What is it with these Americans and their stupid releases. First Rihanna messing up the first single and album release and now Timbaland is doing the same. I had no idea MAD was already out fully. Its only been on the music channels for a few days prior, and now an album out, flopping hard

Except that physical sales are more front-loaded than downloads, so if anything, Lady G should pull away...

I think its the opposite in fact - as has been seen from the multiplier for Tuesday mids -> Sunday sales moving away from the x3.0-3.5 (physicals) to x2.0-2.5 (downloads).

 

In fact, didn't Peter Kay prove this exactly last week, when he finished more than 100% ahead of Rihanna by the end of the week despite being "only" c.50% ahead in the Tuesday mids?

Peters single has proved to be something of a loose cannon, it'll be hard to predict how much its to sell this week and whether it could hold on for a 3rd week. We shall just have to see.

happy for rihanna hope she can stay top 15 on sunday, finally got the album yesterday and there are some great songs on there and it is a 'grower' of an album.

I wouldn't be surprised if, the physical DVD's, Saturday sales take him over 100k again as people shop for stocking fillers. :(

Must be missing data as first week Peter Kay had sales of 138k from 51.4k on early midweeks a ratio of only 2.68. So 17.8*2.68=47.7k
