February 13, 201015 yr Ronni Ancona :wub: great that i get to see her again next week i :heart: The Naomily episode :wub: The Cook one was good too, so far the weakest was the opening episode :blink: As Conor asked about the depressing episodes, i think the more depressing the better because your move likely to get absorbed into it. Thats what made series Two so good. atm S4 > S3
February 13, 201015 yr Surprised more people haven't commented on Cook's episode. By far the best of this series to date. I really enjoy seeing Cook in a more introspective light and then getting that sinking feeling when you realise that he's about to become a cock again because he's amongst friends. You definitely felt for him.
February 13, 201015 yr I've been meaning to comment but completely forgot! LOL Cook's episode surprised me, ALOT! Prior to the episode I was telling my brother that Cook is my least fave character etc... and that I thought he was $h!t :lol: but he completely made me do a U-Turn in a single episode! So gripping and emotional. Was good seeing another side to Cook! Definately the best episode this series, and probably one of the best out of all the series'.

February 15, 201015 yr I liked the Cook episode but it annoyed me that him and namoi kissed it served absolutely no purpose to the plot, and it was only put in so they can play it on the trailer so that people will watch

February 26, 201015 yr Much like last week's episode I'm a bit confused as to how I felt about that but I think I really enjoyed it. The biggest problem with Skins currently is the way every character seems to talk in constant riddles and metaphors. Nobody has conversations in real life where every emotion and situation is compared to outer space or other ethereal things. Kaya was really good though and I think Luke's acting has definitely improved. Good to see the return of Effy's mum too who I did so like last series. BOO for JJ next week.

I just found it rather boring, I guess it explains Effy's character a bit more but as heartless as it sounds I just didn't care. :( I always preffered the twins, Naomi, Pandora & Cook. The other three, which are unfortunately the main three are overrated imo.

I agree with all of this Although I did enjoy Will Young's cameo, he's a very decent actor from what I've seen of him in other things - when the pop career dries up, he'll have no problem finding work, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he went to the US and became something like a Hugh Laurie type of figure. He's very charming and likeable, it certainly seemed that way when I saw him live just over a year ago at leasy.
