Stop trying to make Tori Amos happen! She's not going to happen! :P

It'd be great to know what sales for these songs are this week. Obviously Joe / RATM are on course for ridiculous figures, but what about 3OH!3/Katy Perry - are they on course for the kind of sales that would see them at #1 easily any other week I wonder.

but, but, but tori is love  :P

WOW. I must admit, RATM are doing FAR better than I thought they would

Roll on next week though. The quicker they drop the better for me :heehee: (Same goes for the dull 'The Climb' too!)

Imagine if Rage did stop Cowell. How pissed off would he be? LOL. First his top-dawg Leona gets stopped by BEP's and now the winner's single! LOL. It's peeing me off so much 3OH!3, could very well have been the Chrimbo number 1 if it wasn't for the winning single/campaign! :drama: Next year, at least let there be a campaign for a PROPER Christmas song to be Chrimbo number 1! The Tweenies or Geraldine McQueen? :kink:

I love Starstrukk and Don't Trust Me is easily my second least favourite song of the year (after X Factor Finalists), so I'm really glad it's doing so well :D who would have expected this random act to have a xmas top 5 hit

Oh 'Parachute' up to #38! Surprised it's still clmibing 72h after being performed! :cheer:

Robbie should fall to #7 quite quickly.

And to think, 3OH!3 could've been #1. -_-

Without the assumed inevitability of the X-Factor winner, there might have been more new Christmas singles being released.

Ahhhh so 'Starstrukk' is 59p!! That's why it's as high as it is! LOL

Well every 59p isn't making it into the top3....

Another Top 75 hit so quickly  Would be nice (but probably impossible) if it hung around like 3 Words did, before its proper release.

But they're not new releases :P
I don't think about 30p makes much difference. :P
I think you'd be surprised :o Didn't 'Remedy' start rising rapidly when that went down to 59p? Yeah it was rising anyway, but I don't think it would have risen as fast as it did...

'Remedy' was just a fantastic song though. If people like a song enough they're gonna buy it no matter what the price is.

I could be wrong but I don't think it makes THAT much difference.

Yeah I see what you mean. 3OH!3 were always a certain Top 10 with this track anyway imo, but going Top 3... I for sure, definately wasn't expecting that :heehee:

3OH!3 would not have been Top 10 (already) if it was 79p or 99p. I love the song, I love the band - but that is the truth. It would probably Top 30. The chart is so messed up due to X Factor that new entries need a push this week. The record label and band have decided they want a hit rather than to cash in right now - so fair play to them. It was going to be make or break for 3OH!3 if this single didn't chart well, but the label have trusted them to sell an album off the back off this single. They have a huge advantage because of the price, but it cannot be touted as an unfair advantage.

3OH!3 are the perfect band to benefit from a lower pricing. Most people like the song (or Katy Perry), but are quite casual fans so wouldn't usually spend £1 on it. Buyers see 59p as a big saving, and so, in this case, just think "why not?".

Whoa! Flipping heck! Joe's got some catching up to do with his physicals! I'll feel a bit bad for him if he doesn't get #1, because won't he be the first not to do it? Though to be honest, I'm not really bothered which does.

Steve didnt enter at #1, he climbed to it if I remember correctly.

Pity seeing as Joe is far more talented than the likes of Leon Jackson.

Ergh at RATM being #1. That's the Media publicing the 'battle'.

Once physicals kick in Joe will probably stay ahead.

It'll be close though!
