I agree 100%. i was gonna say instead of giving the winner a cover song for christmas no.1 why not use one of their weekly performances or audition songs as it instead that way Joe would release something much better than the dirge he was given. :D I also really canoot get the Journey hate, everyone's allowed to their opinions and all but it seems a little biased how whatever is based as rock, heavy metal (Nickelback, GNR, Journey) in that genre gets hugely slated :huh:

Is GaGa#1 on the officials now? Or just downloads?

Just iTunes, and that's with two different versions combined. The highest version of the two is still #2 on iTunes.

Has it deffo froze? :/

TBH 3 Words is amazing. Some people can't see that because it isn't commercial.

I don't think it's frozen, people just celebrate Christmas and don't download songs :D

3 words -- I first heard it after clicking the link to the video on youtube expecting nothing at all and was quite taken by it. I even recommended it to a friend. That's not something I'd ever normally expect to do with a Cheryl Cole video, so maybe it's appealing to a different market than you might otherwise think?

 

To be honest that does seem quite true, all of the positive comments I've read about it start with "I don't like Cheryl but.." or "I don't like Girls Aloud songs but...". Her album is pretty different to all of what GA have put out and so it's actually not too surprising her fans aren't too keen.

 

I now wonder what goodies Nadine will release!

Hope iTunes is fixed soon, it freezing seems to be a weekly thing now.

I assume it is frozen because it's Christmas and nothing is open on Xmas Day, it would be an unfair advantage. And obviously there are staff involved with the upkeep of the service. Some of the songs currently doing well don't deserve any further sales, it's good they can lose some sales this week, call it karma.

I agree with Ben it's Christmas is all about family and friends not downloading songs. Tommorow will be back to normal. :)
