No we have to wait :( Well lets hope Kelly gets her but out promoting - She has plenty of time now. Im hoping for a massive summer, huge chorus single now :D
That stinks we have to wait till september, obviously they're trying to have the album out right before the holiday sales pick up, i guess they really wanna make sure the album hits a million sales as her last two have not achieved that feat.

“My Life Would Suck Without You” songwriter Claude Kelly recently re-teamed with Kelly Clarkson to write tracks for her upcoming fifth studio album. Although the album was recently delayed until September, Claude thinks that it will work in her favor, and hints that her label are hoping for Kelly to make a “big” splash when she returns to the music scene.

“I will say that I’d be willing to bet that the reason it was pushed back was not for anything as horrible or earth-shattering as people think — it’s probably [just]a better setup.”

Describing the current pop scene as “congested,” Claude Kelly thinks that a slightly delayed release will work in Clarkson’s favor. “They want to make sure that the arena is clean for Kelly Clarkson’s return, ’cause when she comes back, she always comes back pretty big,” he said. “They want to make sure when her first single comes out, there’s nothing out there that’s competing with it. I don’t know for sure, but Kelly always does it big, so when it comes out, the fans will be happy and she’ll sing her butt off and it’ll be good times.”

Claude also divulged on the type of songs he’s written for Kelly, revealing that they’re all “uptempos” in the same vein as Kelly’s signature gutsy style.

“The songs I did write for her were in true Kelly Clarkson form, singer records that showcase her voice, but also show her edge and her attitude and her personality,” he explained. “[it's] always up-tempo for me when it comes to Kelly. I like to hear her in kick-butt mode. She has an edge to her voice that you want to hear her sing high and get in your face.”

Sounds smart. Kelly’s sales may not be where they once were, but she has yet to lose her magic touch on the US charts: She just cracked the Billboard top forty and hit #1 on the Country chart with her Jason Aldean duet “Don’t You Wanna Stay”.

Elsewhere, Claude Kelly is currently riding high after writing Jessie J’s current hit “Price Tag”. He also co-wrote “Gasoline” for Britney Spears’ new Femme Fatale album, and he’s currently working alongside Korean megastars Wonder Girls on their first US album.

I'm with Claude on this, while it sucks not to get new material, by September the big pop heavyweights will all be well into their latest era giving her plenty of spotlight to dazzle in.

Kelly Clarkson's new material has been described as "crazy rock-pop" by a producer.

Hitmaker Rodney Jerkins, who has previously worked with Michael Jackson, Lady GaGa and Britney Spears, revealed that he produced a track for the singer's LP that he is "confident" will make the final cut.

Asked if he had worked on Clarkson's album, he told The Hollywood Reporter: "A song called 'I Forgive You' that me and Lauren Christy did that's just crazy pop-rock.

"The first person who came into my head to do it was Kelly Clarkson. So I sent it immediately and got a response that night. She came out to record - the energy was great and I just finished mixing it. She nailed it. It turned out great."

Regarding the ongoing delay of the album's release, he admitted: "I think it's a smart decision. With Doug [Morris]coming in [as Sony Music CEO], but not until July, it's better to wait, get cool with him, understand what he wants to do and all that.

"I'm confident in the record that we did. And even though the album was pushed back, I think we can get back into the studio to do a couple more things."

Clarkson recently unveiled a new track from the LP at a charity event.

I want that track to make the album so badly! Lauren Christy has previously worked with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Korn, Avril Lavigne, Hilary Duff, Ricky Martin, Ashley Parker Angel and McFly... Nice range.

Is there a link for this new track?

Its not a new track it's a cover of a song one of her support acts did. I posted it in a seperate thread but I don't think anyone checked it out...

Love this performance on Ellen -

Still sounding amazing! Can't wait for this album!! Hope we get 2 singles before the album, so that the wait doesn't seem aslong!

It sure does look that way! She looks really good lately!

I hope that when Kelly Clarkson does release her 5th album in the UK that at least two songs do well in the charts as she had a No1 in 2009 with 'My Life Would Suck Without You' and then 'I Do Not Hook Up' only got to No36 but it's still played on some radio channels.

Sounds very promising! Could have been an AIEW track!
According to Pop Justice, Let Me Down could be the first single!

Interesting... I like the lq clip, but it doesn't sound as instant as MLWSWY to me
