Britster i think you have made a mistake with the album mids Cheryl Cole is not top 10 she as dropped a place.

 

The frontpage was correct for Thursday, but I accidentally posted Wednesday's mids over Thursday's when I was tidying it all up.

That's why it takes me so long to compile them... so usually someone else ends up posting them before i have finished :lol:

None of Will Young's album in our HMV. Seems to be a lot of places low on stock of his.

Nice that Cheryl is still Top 10 with both singles, hope the album climbs back up too!

I have been meaning to ask this for a long time but I keep forgetting.... Why do we always get the midweeks in that shape? I mean we don't know the exact places of acts below the top 5 and the list has also a lot of empty slots. I know this is probably a fault of MW (?) but why does that happen? The rest are easy to guess? To create some kind of mystery and suspence?

Florence & The Machine has only shot up iTunes in the last 2 days so I doubt it'll have a major impact on this Sundays chart. However, I think 'You've Got The Love' will have sold enough these last two days (and today) to climb into the top 10 - will most likely be between 6-10. If sales hold up all next week then 'YGTL' have climb again next week. I still think the highest peak this track can achieve is #2 which is still an achievement considering it looked like it was only going to peak at #16.

I can answer that. It's because the OCC doesn't allow forums to post all the exact positions. ;) The full midweek chart is on the MW site but forums can't post it like that as it's copyrighted.
