Never did I ever think I'd see Florence #2 on iTunes!

Looks like she's going to #1 soon too! :cheer:

I get that you don't like covers and that you don't like X Factor but please don't be idiotic. Joe has sang the song enough times live to show that it sounds pretty much identical to the recorded version. You can insult the show all you want but do not act like he cannot sing.

I never said he couldn't sing! I said that the recorded version IS autotuned and it makes it look like they spent millions on recording Hallelujah compared to this! He can sing, yes but it sounds like they just recorded this in one take and just autotuned it and said 'that'll do' they never did that beforehand considering how well produced Hallelujah was so I'm just wondering why did they do it now and why are people just accepting it?

Agreed, I don't like the song, but I dont think Joe has been autotuned whatsoever

 You need to listen to the song again I think, as I mentioned a few times on here now around 2:11 I can't believe they actually kept it like that because I don't think a human can sound like that!

ON TOPIC: Go Florence :D

Bloody hell this is a huge surprise :o

I'm surprised Justin B hasn't made more of an impact yet.

Not many people will know it's out yet, he'll probably be on BBC Switch tomorrow night to promote it, as he's been on there a couple of times already.

Joe looks like he might have a big drop coming now... I'm out this evening, will be interested to see if he's still anywhere near 12 when I get back!

Honestly, people like him should be barred. Don't want any Disney rubbish on British charts. :arrr:

He's irritated me greatly - does that count? :P

He isn't Disney.

He was discovered on youtube and is the protégé of Usher.

Did the whole Florence thing start with a Facebook campaign?

I love this track so I don't mind this time, but it will become annoying soon if it's so easy to "fake" the charts.

No, there was no Facebook campaign.

The song has just had a great amount of promo recently, being played on many radio stations every day and a performance on the New Years Eve TOTP.

OK, thanks for your explanation!

Hope it will be #1 then, it would be a great first chart-topper of the 10's.

There is a Facebook campaign, but the main reason for this boost is the promo and exposure everywhere.

There's only about 800 members on the Facebook campaign so it's just a coincidence.

'Sexy No! No! No!' being used on the new series of 'So You Think You Can Dance' Hopefully it makes a tiny impact!

Oooh and now one of my fave songs ever Hoobastank 'The Reason'!!!

And now Little Boots 'Remedy' :kink:

Florence was on Gavin and Stacy and have to admit made me want to buy it too!
