i hope rihanna holds up, such a class song way better than 'ego'

hahaha ego #11 now, a better song then the one underneath it :P

 

The saturdays management team have now set up a campain to promote Ego..The winner gets a signed promotional Ego CD..So as we speak people are posting links on forums/facebook/myspace etc...

If Ego hits the top 10 it will gain vital exposure and it's likely to get top 10 in the officials..It's just getting past Rihanna.

ego is a pretty generic pop song imo and thats why its struggling for a top 10 placing.anytime its played on radio 1 i barely listen as it sounds l;ike alot of other stuff out there - they should come up with something like the brillant - up!! hope jayz/mr hudson rises - great tune.lol at the climb - dropping like a stone!!

I think its easily the best thing they ever did.

 

Anyway, if it does eventually get to #10, they should have a big boost after that

If Ego gets into the iTunes top 10 by the end of today, I'd say they'd have a pretty good shot at making top 10 this week.

 

I don't think it will get in the Top 10 early enough for it to get a boost tonight. I also suspect that people will be enjoying the snow tomorrow, and it will be a weak day of downloads. Let's keep our fingers crossed. The Saturdays aren't favourites of mine, but I don't want them to be dropped and replaced by worse.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES at Ego going up to 11. Although I suspect it is a case of which song is losing popularity the fastest rather than Ego gaining sales. Top 10 by Thursday hopefully.

 

Additionally the Sats have TV promo for the first time in what will be 3 weeks next week so hopefully that will boost Ego a bit too

Fingers crossed..I mean even if they start to close in on Rihanna by the end of the week they have a fairly good chance at getting the #10 position as they do sell alot of physicals.

 

I just hope they make it though as it is one of their better songs and it would be a shame for it not too. :wub:

Last week it had sales of 27 thousand or something like that :) and it only got to 17 :l

lol the saturdays usually make it up in physical sales :)

This week won't be the end for 'Ego' anyway. 'Issues' also peaked the week after their release I believe, so there's still hope... but anyway there's a Sats forum for all this LOL...

Joe McElderly is #10 in the midweeks and Cheryl is #11, I think if The Saturdays can get top 10 here and get that vital "top 10 boost" they should make it!

Meet Me Halfway, Bad Romance and TiK ToK have been in the top ten for weeks and weeks now.

 

I wonder if MMH will stick around as long as IGF did?

 

BTW there's two versions of Starstrukk. One is at #3 and one is at #119.

Ouch the Saturdays are out THIS week and they aren't top 10. Their fans must be very worried. I have faith in BH since it's far from generic and has been pushed back a week. ^_^

TBH even if they don't get Top 10 on itunes i still think they have a chance of Top 10 in officials. They are behind Cheryl and JOe in the midsand are ahead of them on itunes.

I think Joe McElderry could slip a few more places during the week so if The Saturdays are currently no. 11, they could make the top 10 possibly peaking at no. 9 on Sunday. It depends on if it continues selling well on iTunes whilst 'The Climb' continues to plummet.
