January 9, 201015 yr That is how you do a pop video! Great song too. Not sure it'll be a hit but you can't say it's not a brilliant comeback.
January 9, 201015 yr Good video! The song is extraordinarily camp, it seems almost like a modern day pop attempt at something like 'It's Raining Men'.
January 9, 201015 yr AMAZING! Agreed with Theo and Jark on pretty much everything - video is fantastic! Song sounds f***ing fantastic in full aswell :)
January 9, 201015 yr What a great single! Pleased she didn't come out with another Sweet About Me, it's nice that she's branching out into something else. Song is damn catchy and the video feels fresh. Plus Gabby looks super hot too.
January 9, 201015 yr Still don't rate it much. Her voice isn't right to pull it off. I know it's predictable of me to say, but I think it'd be better performed by a black woman, it's that sort of song. The song is extraordinarily camp, it seems almost like a modern day pop attempt at something like 'It's Raining Men'. Exactly. It sounds like a cover of something from 30 years ago, definitely from the mould of songs like "It's Raining Men", "I'm So Excited" and "Proud Mary". Only it fails, because of her voice. I'm sure I'd be lapping it up if this was Jennifer Hudson, Beverley Knight or Beyoncé.
January 9, 201015 yr Author love the radio edit/video of this  I always respect artists who come back with a different sound rather than more of the same hoping this is a hit for her as she's far too good to be a 1 + semi xmas hit wonder
January 9, 201015 yr I'm sure I'd be lapping it up if this was Jennifer Hudson, Beverley Knight or Beyoncé. Same here

It's just a shame she's gone from being late to the party with the 60s bandwagon, to being late and on the wrong 80s bandwagon. The more I listen to this, the more I want to download myself "Proud Mary". I can imagine her going into 'rolling on the river' at any moment. Same here  It's just a song that needs that kind of power isn't it? Gabriella has a good voice, just not the right type for this song.
January 9, 201015 yr How on earth is this song a part of an 80s bandwagon? It's very disco and 70s. Only her styling in the video is particularly 80s. And I don't think it would suit a massive diva vocal at all. It doesn't strike me as a very 'black' song beyond the funky disco element of the production.
January 10, 201015 yr STUNNING The video is lush, absolutely amazing can't wait for it to be all over the TV [it's been taken on Melbourne's The Herald Sun website now] The song itself. WOW. She'll be no one hit wonder after that! March can't come soon enough.
January 16, 201015 yr I feel as though Gabriella's grown up and "matured" from her Lessons era. (And while I'm at it, I thought it was a listenable album :) ). I heard a few months ago that her next album will have more R'n'B. :D
January 16, 201015 yr Liking the video. Song sounds like something that's been recorded so many times though, not that i don't like it. I do but it hasn't pulled my strings like SAM or Save the lies did. Edited January 16, 201015 yr by Rob Summers
